Best tool to manage your projects in different languages
What do you like best about the product?
As a designer, Sketch integration is super useful to see how our design would work in different languages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Collaboration tools could be improved, sometimes comments get lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Optimizing the workflow for localization, and we are not using all the features the tool provides.
Quick and nice
What do you like best about the product?
I like best to have a quick overview of what is missing/due without annoying xls files going around.
I also find very useful to check proposed translations and have a cross check of already translated sentences or words in order to give consistency to the project through the time.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have also a view of the graphic output of the translated text, especially for the apps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The job is easier, quicker and much intresting to carry on. It's possible to track the workflow and even in few minutes you can move the task on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you often have tranlsations to do consider that this tool lets your people save a lot of time for different tasks and the output is more appropriate
I use Lokalise to manage the translations of a large number of applications for my company.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the import and export processes, that are very easy and support many file formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no possibility to manage sub-projects within projects. A hierarchy of projects would be very useful for me. Now I'm using tags, but I think it's more complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The import process saves time compared to inserting one message at a time. The mechanism of translation tasks is very useful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some workflows are tedious for no reason, for example adding a new user into all existing projects.
Hardcoded links between plattforms and import format - for example we have a java web server app which uses .properties files, which are automatically associated with Android.
You can't make export presets, so every user has to figure out all the right options by themselves. Would be great to generally have presets or presets for exports into github.

Having a centralised overview of all the keys in all of our products.
Web Interface for Translators to quickly identify missing translations/errors in translations and to improve/add translations which can be quickly imported back into the codebase.
Less work for Developers as new keys are automatically added to the web interface.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy use of the tool and translation through automatic tools or requesting to external partners
What do you dislike about the product?
Not easy to add HTML content and block HTML tags for not expert users

Lokalise is great for system and database translations

I like the translation suggestions from various sources and also the many different ways to work using the multifunctional filtering.
What do you dislike about the product?
The project I'm working on has many technical terms which are not used in my country, so difficult to translate; but this has nothing to do with Lokalise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I receive terms and phrases of my project with the task to translate them in Greek. Exactly the same task have many colleagues around the world and we can work in parallel.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With Lokalise you can save time, structure well a project, meet parallel goals, measure the process.

Does what it says on the tin - helps to keep translations organised.
Good documentation including helpful videos as well as good written docs.
Useful APIs allowing a good automation flow and integration with our CI.
Some clever "extras" like fuzzy string matching for matching text within screenshots to strings - I actually used this to check the validity of our in-app strings vs the design!

What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides from a user point of view. I don't think it's cheap exactly, but we find it invaluable.

Provides a single, usable point of truth for strings over multiple platforms.

What do you like best about the product?
Fast and reliable software with great translation memory.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. I would just prefer an easier way how to get back to old translations.

I am not solving any problems. I enjoy the benefits of great translation memory.

Easy to fill in and to update. Simple interface. Good user experience

The only thing I would like is to have the opportunity to modifiy something once for all (I don't know if it's possible)
