Lokalise gives real agility
What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise has helped our team to really speed up our development and has given us needed agility to manage our translations and copytext.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpfull if there was mobile app available as well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier we didn't have any proper translation tool but Lokalise is the perfect fit for us. And it is really easy to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it first out with freemium licence :)
Great platform with wonderful support and useful features
What do you like best about the product?
I've been most impressed by the customer support. The personal assistance we have received every step of the way ensured the best experience for our content editors, technical teams, and ultimately our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very little to dislike. A minor challenge has been in adapting our custom placeholder formats to be recognized in the UI and including context for translators related to placeholders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're a global company with many integration partners that need translations for a growing number of products and markets, and this requires continously changing and reusing existing translation content. Things like advanced Translation Memory management and a very well-documented and extensive API help us to support all areas of the business.
Efficient localisation platform
What do you like best about the product?
The tool helps me streamline the translation process, and as my company is opening quite a lot of new markets, it is key for us. It allows engineers to work on building features and not worry too much about the lokalisation process.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still not using the tool to its full capabilities. It would be nice if it "forced" us more to use it in the right way, with more automation. Right now we still have quite a few manual steps that we could do via API but was never setup internally.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool is extremely easy to setup and to use. The UI/UX was very intuitive and well thought out. The collaboration with team members was simple as well. Importing and exporting JSON files was easy and even our CTO was impressed at the fact that it was easy for him to merge it back into the branch. The AI suggestions were critical to making the first pass of a translation a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price was a bit higher than I would have hoped but with the annual subscription the cost/benefit is worth it.

Problems solved:
1) Asking developers to make small in-app text changes
2) Finding untranslated strings in the app
3) Easily translating strings using their AI suggestions (Google, Microsoft and in-house ML)

What do you like best about the product?
Easy 2 use and nice and usable GUI. No App install needed

missing the use of the real qt dialogboxes, so that the translator can see, if it fits or not

What do you like best about the product?
It helps us with the translation of our Website and our App in any language with a simple setup. All in one collaborative platform, it is very easy to use, and also is very fast. There are a lot of useful features. Also, the friendly use let us help and reduce work for our developers, improving our times.

I have no downside from my side, we haven't had a problem with anything of the tool.

We build our App and Website, we use it to automate our translations, and also it is very easy to change or fix texts without bothering all the development team, we cut out the dependencies and that make us work faster and as a team. Anyone can use it, and that makes it very collaborative.
Helpful tool for a multiplatform localisation
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Lokalise for a few years and we are not planning to stop since it's a great solution for our localization tasks. This is a versitile tool that helps us efficiently work as a team. It's equally convenient for developers and those who are not IT geniuses.
It's really awesome that you can attach images when creating keys - this is extremely helpful for our translators and allows us to avoid unnecessary communication with the IT team and designers.
Another great thing about Lokalise is that all our projects are stored in one place which supports multiple platforms and this helps us get the work done really quickly.
And Lokalise support team is always very helpful!

Projects share the same TM and this might be a minor issue.

- This tool allows us efficiently manage our translation projects and integrate translations into our apps and websites.

Extremely capable and flexible Translation Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
Almost everything. Intuitive interface, endless integration options, deceptively simple with much more "under the hood" when you start digging. I have used Lokalise at several organizations and have made custom translation workflows to achieve what the business required. When you compare Lokalise to the ten or so other TMS's available, for me, the value Lokalise provides surpasses their competition (for a price).
What do you dislike about the product?
Somewhat pricy for small teams who still want certain features like historical changes on a per-item basis. Some search and import performance issues, which I expect will be sorted very soon because this team develops very quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Translation Management, Continous Internationalization/Translation
Very intuitive platform and super helpful support staff.
What do you like best about the product?
Coming from a language provider where we had to request batch files of language updates, being able to individually change keys for different languages has made this effort so much more convenient whenever we find minor issues with a specific language.
I do appreciate all the tools within the platform itself and find some of the functionality very powerful. TM would be my favourite.
The Support staff (Alesia in our case) has never been slow to respond when we have queries or need help.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functionality is lited to the API side of things, which while this is obviously very useful for the team, can be limiting for some users. I myself have no developer experience so much rely on Developers to implement the things limited to the API side.
The inability to order translations for all projects causes a bit of a time sink if done through the UI, as orders need to be placed for each project separately.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are spinning up new translations for the entire platform in less than a week, previously a task that could have taken 2/3 months.
By playing around with the available functionality within localise itself, we have saved ourselves another 20/30% cost savings for each translation request that would not have been possible on our old provider.

An all-round translation management platform which meets our needs and strives to do more.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the ability to create various workflows and automate them. The different plugins offered by the platform facilitate this, automating repetitive or mundane work, allowing us to spend more time on stuff that we love to do. There are a couple of ready-to-use translation services offered as part of the platform which provide high quality translations - this helped us get off to a great start when we first migrated to the platform. Finally, the support that's offered to us is one of the best that I've encountered - constantly engaging with us on how they can help us set up our projects, feedback on things that bother us and feature requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
My one minor complaint would be about the UI. It takes a bit of getting used to when you're new and certain elements are hidden and it's not apparent how to access them without consulting the documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise helps us get our products out to market pretty quickly by providing nifty automation, plugins to tie into the tools we love and use and fast turnaround times for translation orders within the platform. All in all, Lokalise ties in greatly to our Agile mode of work and delivery.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for an all-in-one solution for your translation management needs, I'd advise you to look no further.
