It is a great tool for translators

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the interface is simple and easy to use. I like that DeepL and other MT tools are available on the side right away for every translation, which helps me save a lot of time.

Edit 1+ year later : massive improvements have been made to the communication features of Lokalise, allowing to easily ask for help and notify the adequate people to obtain answers quickly, as well as follow the thread of conversations about specific translation questions.

Also the support team is very quick to help at any time, that is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that there is no option to turn off automatic e-mails for incoming tasks or closed tasks. This should definitely be implemented. (I don't need an e-mail to let me know that a task is finished when I'm the one who just marked it as finished...)

Edit 1+ year later: Lokalise has known many improvements. I think the search functions could still be improved and made more intuitive to use, like an option to search through several different projects but not all at once. Also the feature to make changes to multiple translations containing the same words could be made better by offering a clearer overview of all translations containing the same terms (in a bigger window so I could see more at a time for example).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It brings all the translation/revision work that I need to do for a client in one place, which means that I don't need to have a ton of gdocs opened at once, which is great !

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise is one of the online CAT tool platforms I have been working on for more than 3 years now. The interface is easy to understand, and practical, and any new users can use it. However, there used to be sometimes some glitches that postponed my work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There used to be some glitches that I should break my work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise solved the problems fast than expected and this helped me a lot to finish my work earlier.

Great plug-in for automatic translations in Intercom for Customer Support

What do you like best about the product?
The automation of conversations from any language into any other language and back again. This allows seamless written correspondence (web chat) with our customers in any language, without needing to have an army of multi-lingual customer support agents. Lokalise works great with Intercom so if you, like us, need multi-lingual customer support it is the market leader.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost, the monthly character limits, and the visibility of the monthly character limits. If we could visualise (in a graph) monthly usage across the year that would be very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise is allowing us to provide better customer support to customers of all nationalities, meaning that our customer satisfaction rating has improved. It has also meant that the recruitment of multilingual agents is no longer required so we were able to drastically reduce our recruitment cycle time.

The current pricing scheme is a bit hard to handle as it is not always fitting to support simple business with low requirements (not needing all the features)

Moving away from spreadsheets

What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Localise we finally moved away from spreadsheets, improved the delivery time and the translation consistency.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find any, I guess we just can't use all the features because of our processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All projects are in one storage; all team involved can find benefits form using it.

Great tool with great customer service

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how flexible Lokalise is. From HTML and Office documents to JSON files and TypeScript code, Lokalise has us covered in all our usage needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I see absolutely no downside in using the tool. I tried other tools before selecting Lokalise and I could not find one that did all Lokalise does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise is helping me quickly and effectively translate training and promotional material. We also plan to use it for the localization of user interfaces and to expand our technical support.

What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing. It's a tad expensive. I liked when you had machine translation suggestions. Where did they go?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not having some document with versions of translations in some shared drive. That was a nightmare.

What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty straightforward, quick and easy to use.

It allows for great communication with the management of any translation projects.

It allows to track the advancement and changes on every single aspect of any project.

And now, it even has AI powers to make it quicker and easier to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably the fact that sometimes you just get some notifications about projects you can't work on. Maybe that's the project manager's fault, but you still keep getting these emails from Lokalise.

It doesn't look as good or easy to use in mobile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping my project managers to handle the translation of huge pieces of software seamlessly and simultaneously across many languages and dialects.

It's cost-effective.

Now with their AI integrations things tend to be quicker.
