Easy to use tool for translations in various different languages
What do you like best about the product?
Translations are extremely quick as there is a Google Translate button where the reviewer can simply adjust translations and mark them as ready.
Permissions can be adjusted to reviewers for specific countries, so there is no risk, that work of others might be affected negatively.
Customer support is really quick and helpful. The links to videos and FAQ is very helpful. Also customer service is very friendly and answers within an hour which is an approriate time to answer.
The initial use is quiet easy, although, I would recommend to merge the settings for everything. At the moment, the settings for language options are outside of the settings menu.
The auto-pull feature is extremly helpful as translations can be adjusted to sprint rythms.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is very expensive for the initial phase of a product launch. Meaning, if only translations for English and a second language are required, and as long as a product is not established on a market yet, Lokalise is too expensive - at least for any company that is not a big cooperation. Especially regarding the fact that most smaller companies would start in a market where the second language is their native language, thus, there is less need for translation assistance. I would suggest to offer a free version for the second language (that cannot be changed afterwards) and start charging money for the third language to bind customers.
It is not clear where to create projects when you are not an admin. Disabling the button with an explanation that permissions are missing would be better to understand. In my case, I had project admin permissions but not overall admin permissions and was looking for the Create Project button as I was not aware I had limited rights.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise is allowing translations by a non-tech person. The alternative would be to waist developers time to translate via Google and to risk our non-tech reviewer to adjust translations within code and hereby changing code as he isn't aware that deleting a semicolon by mistake creates faults in the code.

What do you like best about the product?
I recently had an issue with task creation and screen loading in Lokalise and reached out to their support team for help. From the start, the support experience was impressive.
Olga quickly identified the issues and escalated them to the support engineering team. Álvaro and Victor provided detailed assistance, helping me understand the root of the problems. They even offered insights into the technical aspects and worked with me until everything was resolved.
Even when the issue involved locked keys in a massive task created by another team, Álvaro went above and beyond, fetching details via API and guiding me through the process of closing the problematic task.
Despite some hiccups, like not being able to search for the task via the UI, the support team was proactive and communicative. They kept me updated, ensured I understood each step, and ultimately resolved all my issues.

One challenge I encountered was the difficulty in searching for tasks via the UI, especially when dealing with a massive task that locked keys. This limitation made it harder to identify and resolve the issue quickly. However, the support team's diligence in fetching details through the API mitigated this inconvenience.

We use it to manage keys and request translations from local copywriters, ensuring our content resonates with our audience across Europe. All-in-one app for localization
What do you like best about the product?
I think Lokalise has everything you need for an efficient localization process and way more. It's easy to use, reliable, has lots of very useful features that helped us streamline our process, from basic (but useful!) ones such as adding screenshots, tagging etc. to more advanced ones such as the review center. I also like the integrated machine translation tools which make things quicker for everyone. Plus their customer service team is amazing - always helpful and quick to answer. I've never waited more than a few seconds to get a reply!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major, I really think Lokalise offers everything you need! There are a few things that would be a nice addition though, such as the possibility to set time in due dates for task, a global view of tasks from all projects and the option to use review ceter across projects as right now you can't add keys from more than one project to one review bundle. The Lokalise team is really listening to their users though so they keep adding new useful features all the time!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise has helped us really streamline the localization process. From key management (tagging, screenshots, comments) to task management, which works excellent, to communication with translators on chat - it helps every step of the way. It's reliable and user-friendly and they keep adding new useful features.

It speeds up my translation task three to four times and I have the option to choose from various translation options.

It helps me solve my translation/localization tasks in a handy way, which speeds up my work.
Lokalise is the most tech-savvy and user-friendly platform for localization I ever worked with.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is its Automation option that automatically copies translations from one language into another. I set the automation rule once (chose my Monitored and automated languages) and now, every time I add a translation to the monitored language, it is copied to the Automated one. It is very convenient when you have many locales of a language, and you don't want to copy translations every time you add or change something. It saved me a lot of time and nerves:)
Also, I like that the Lokalise has a built-in checker for variables/HTML tags. If I incorrectly entered the placeholder or tags, Lokalise always highlights these mistakes.
And last but not least. Lokalise has human customer support and they know everything. They helped me not only with my issues but also gave advice regarding the most correct and effective use of Lokalise.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if Lokalise had a preview of the changes before it is saved. Also, I'd like to have more options for sorting keys (by folders for example), not only using metadata. But this is only my experience as a user, of course, it depends on your needs and workflow.

It's a great tool for managing all your translations, keeping consistency, and saving time and money during work on the localization of your product.
User friendly CAT tool powered with features like translate with AI
What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise is a great CAT tool with user friendly interface and its features such as translate with AI make it even better. Many a times during translation, we have character limits, the 'shorten' feature in Lokalise allows me to meet that limit without changing the meaning of the source text. It also has features such as 'Rephrase' and 'suggest variants' which I use often.
What do you dislike about the product?
Two minor issues that I would like Lokalise team to fix are:
1) I can't see exact number of tasks I am working on, if they are more than 9. It will only show 9+.
2) If I save and complete a segment using keyboard shortcuts then it does not move the cursor to next segment, I have to use mouse for that every time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have worked on many CAT tools in the past. I am using Lokalise since February 2024. The problem that Lokalise is solving for me is the way tags are displayed and inserted in a target field. It is quite user friendly, inserted with keyboard shortcut keys and the coloured tags make the work interesting, unlike other CAT tools which display tags in the same monotonous color. Additionally, inserting glossary terms is supereasy with keyboard, which feature is unique in Lokalise. Options of Google translate and Microsoft translate enhance my productivity when I translate complex and technical text.

Easy to use, many features, good documentation. Customer support is super fast and amazing!

Maybe the automations should work also in using branching.
Also it would be great to add automations per language. Since some translator is working better depending on the language.

We have the translations in Lokalise and we can assign the reviews to internal or external reviewers. The Developers don't have to take care to send to review a text, and the reviewers have a friendly UI to use.
Great functionalities and user experience
What do you like best about the product?
I think the user friendly interface is great and that Intercom is super for the support and clarification of questions

There are just a couple of techincal aspects I didn't like: the webhook bodies sometimes miss some information and the management of characters limit for string keys is not fully handled
