Very amazing platform to work with
What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise is a powerful and intuitive localization platform that makes managing multilingual content straightforward and efficient. One of the standout features is its user-friendly interface, which simplifies collaboration between developers, translators, and project managers. The integration options are extensive, supporting many tools and platforms such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Figma, and various CMSs, which streamline the localization workflow. The automated translation suggestions, glossary management, and the ability to handle multiple file formats are also incredibly helpful. Additionally, the real-time collaboration feature allows teams to work together seamlessly, reducing turnaround time for translation projects. Plus very eazy to use. Customer support is very convinient. I use it multiple time per day.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Lokalise is a comprehensive platform, it can be a bit overwhelming for new users due to its numerous features and settings. The pricing structure, although justified by the functionality offered, can be a bit steep for smaller teams or startups. Also, some integrations require a bit of a learning curve to set up and fully utilize. Occasionally, the platform can feel slightly slow when dealing with very large projects or numerous strings, but this is not a dealbreaker considering the overall benefits.

By bridging the gap between consumer and provider.

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise offers a broad range of app integrations which is crucial for my work. It comes with a modern, intuitive design and allows a lot of individualization in terms of workflows and processes.
Customer support is quick and helpful in any request so far. Unlike other providers, Lokalise is easy to access. Quick loading times, so it's pleasant to use. Progress reports, possibility to create and manage tasks are also very helpful. Especially great tool for software localization!
The integration of Machine Translation tools, AI and further automations is great and saves a lot of effort during translation process.
Customer support is quick and helpful in any request so far. Unlike other providers, Lokalise is easy to access. Quick loading times, so it's pleasant to use. Progress reports, possibility to create and manage tasks are also very helpful. Especially great tool for software localization!

What do you dislike about the product?
one thing I still miss in Lokalise are more features for document translation. E.g. standard features of concurrent providers like alignment of source documents and translated documents, document preview during translation process.
Translation memory management is only available at higher (pricier) plans - which is understandable - but even translation newcomers might want to benefit from a proper TM-Management at lower cost.
The glossary feature is quite basic, could be improved for better terminology management, too (e.g. allow definitions, source indication).
Would be great to be able to use further DeepL functions like synonym/rephrasing etc. in the same section - this is mostly covered by AI - the use of which is very restricted still).

multilingual view on translations and source text allows to stay consistent and keep text length in mind.
vertical layout of the UI helps to work thoroughly from top to bottom of all segments. Filter is possible too.

Overseeing localization across various platforms, documents, and languages can lead to disorder, particularly when utilizing disparate tools or relying on manual procedures. Lokalise consolidates for us all localization activities within a single platform, facilitating the management of translations, monitoring of progress, and collaboration among team members. This approach removes the necessity of handling various tools simultaneously.

I've been using Lokalise on several projects and am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The tool is user-friendly for product managers or designers, who can easily update copies in the app without needing to involve developers. Just edit copies under a relevant key and with the next build, the app will automatically pull the most up-to-date content.
My dev colleagues who handle integration with web and mobile apps never had issues with setting this up irrespective of tech stack.

I wish the Figma plugin could be offered as an add-on for an additional fee, rather than requiring an upgrade to the Pro plan. We don’t need most of the Pro plan’s features, and the price difference between the Pro and Essential plans is significant. As I’m not a power user, this is my only concern.

Lokalise simplifies the setup and maintenance of multi-language mobile and web apps, allowing for the separation of app content from the code. This means that text changes can be made without needing developer involvement.

What do you like best about the product?
It has been a great tool for taking our website to the next level as we try to capture new markets and languages. Especially useful is that this is a shared experience between our team; everybody can see what is happening & be on the same page regarding the progress.

There are quite a lot of features & initially, it might take some time to capture the product's full value.

Our customer success manager and the support and technical support teams are easy to reach and always quick to respond and very helpful.

It lacks some basic features such as TM management or automatic pre-population of repeated segments.

Lokalise allows us to streamline localization workflows by providing certain integrations as well as an API that we can use to exchange source/translations between platforms.

What I like best about Lokalise is its user-friendly interface and extensive features. As a former translator, I particularly appreciate the ones related to the tanslations (TM, AI translations, edit menue, etc.). It streamlines the work process significantly. Additionally, I can't but mention their excellent customer support, always providing timely and helpful assistance.

The OTA allowance calculations are a little bit confusing. But in general, I like their services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps a lot to manage translations and implement some changes in the product (which might seem minor in volume, but of great importance for the project) in just a few clicks.
