Great Support Team, but Lacks Essential Context Features for Gengo Translators

What do you like best about the product?
1. Lokalise’s interface is pretty intuitive. It didn't take me long to get the hang of it, and everything is laid out in a way that’s easy to follow. The dashboard is clean, and you can quickly find all your translation keys, languages, and project files. Also love the dark theme.
2. I really appreciate how Lokalise integrates with tools we already use like GitHub, Figma, and Slack.
3. The reporting tools are great for tracking project progress and keeping an eye on budgets. I can see which languages are complete, what’s in progress, and how much is left, which is super helpful for staying on top of deadlines.
4. The support team has been amazing! They’re responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping out.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Lokalise is definitely on the more expensive side, especially if you're a smaller team or an individual user. I feel like some features are great but not essential for every use case, so it would be nice to have more flexible pricing options.
2. The comment button is gray/dark blue, which tends to blend into the background on a dark theme. It doesn’t stand out visually when a new comment from a translator appears, making it easy to overlook.
3. It’s really disappointing that essential features like Translation Memory (TM), glossary support, and character limit checks aren’t available for Gengo translators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lokalise to order, keep, and manage all our translations in one place, which has made the process way more organized. It’s like having our localization team and tools directly embedded in the workflow, which saves us time and keeps everything up-to-date.

What do you like best about the product?
The AI translator, image attachments, customer support, and history. Aside from that, the interface is extremely user-friendly and can be navigated with keyboard shortcuts.
What do you dislike about the product?
During translation, it shows a memory error cca.20 minutes, and it needs to be reloaded.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can use my favorite program in my own language.

What do you like best about the product?
Lokalise has a user-friendly and intuitive interface, making it incredibly easy for both new and experienced translators to work with. The platform also provides extensive support documentation and FAQs, ensuring users can find help when needed. On top of that, the customer support team is exceptional! They respond promptly and assist with any problems or questions that arise during use.

Implementing Lokalise into our existing workflow was seamless. Their support and customer success team were available every step of the way, ensuring a smooth transition. Lokalise covers all the essential aspects of the localization process, including real-time translation memory updates, glossary integration, and personalized AI-based translations that significantly enhance productivity and speed up the delivery process.

Additionally, Lokalise offers a wide range of app integrations and API access to facilitate a smooth workflow for any company’s needs. Overall, this tool strikes the perfect balance between ease of use, powerful features, and exceptional customer support. I highly recommend it to teams looking for a reliable and scalable localization solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I don’t have any major dislikes about Lokalise, there are three areas where I believe improvements could be made based on my experience. First, a key feature missing from the editor is the ability to automatically propagate 90-100% matches for empty translations. Currently, this requires repetitive manual updates, where you have to search and fill in keys, which slows down the workflow—especially in larger projects where consistency is crucial.

Second, it would be highly beneficial to have the option to organize, group, and filter languages in the multilingual view. This would make navigating large projects with many languages more efficient, reducing the need to scroll extensively through the list.

Also, the TM sometimes offers matches that are not entirely accurate because its system often lowers the match percentage based on the number of words in the text, which doesn’t always reflect the true level of similarity.

Finally, while the platform is generally responsive, there are occasional instances where it takes a bit longer to load or update. Enhancing the speed during these times would significantly improve the overall user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise has enabled us to manage all of our translation and localization needs, as well as coordinate with stakeholders, within one centralized platform. This has significantly streamlined the process, making it faster and more efficient. Previously, we relied on Google Sheets, communicated via email with an external agency, and dealt with a lot of repetitive manual work.

With Lokalise's real-time translation memory, the ability to add glossaries, and the inclusion of our company's style guidelines, we now ensure consistency in terminology and tone across all localized content. Additionally, the platform allows us to integrate various apps and set up personalized workflows for our stakeholders, further reducing manual interventions and document handling.

Lokalise also supports a wide range of file formats, app strings, and user interfaces, all in a single platform, simplifying the localization process for different types of content. Finally, its scalability has allowed us to increase the number of languages we offer in our services, enabling us to expand into new markets.

What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Lokalise to manage our front-end changes and keep our Intercom help center updated across four languages, and it has been a game changer for our team. Lokalise makes it incredibly easy to centralize our translations and collaborate with my teammates. It integrates seamlessly with our system.Highly recommend it to any team looking to scale their localization efforts. It just works. My team loves the new AI translation offerning, which allows us to keep our costs down.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a new user unfamiliar with translation management system, it took me a couple tries to feel comfortable using it, but I appreciate the resources that were available to me to get help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to keep our help center content up to date in four languages is time-consuming and difficult for our small team. Lokalise helps immensly to speed up this process and makes the impossible, possible

What do you like best about the product?
We provide 20 languages and quite complex translation cases. We dig out all translations solution and use several things and settled to Lokalise.

Lokalise provide easy integration for server side & client side.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hope its AI Translation quality be better based on other translation's word usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before we found lokalise, we provide 20 languages and we need to manage its all translations from developer side. After we use Lokalise, we can manage all translations in UI so our development resources saved.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to translate multiple languages at once is great. There are lots of useful features and that's a big pro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I almost never attach images / more info to the keys since I don't consider it is easy / fast to do, but I love that I have the option to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are an international company, so both our app and websites have to be localised in multiple languages. It saves us so much time and money to have it all here. The review process for our content managers is quick and easy.

A Choice That Won't Disappoint

What do you like best about the product?
When I was tasked with the internationalization of our project, I compared various software internationalization SaaS services available in the market and ultimately chose Lokalise.

Currently, we are a team of 50 people, including Product Designers and Developers, all of whom are using Lokalise. From design to automatic integration into our projects, the entire experience has been exceptional. Lokalise has significantly improved our efficiency in internationalization, allowing us to reach a global audience more effectively.

This decision has not disappointed me in the slightest.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lokalise AI integrates AI translation, which is somewhat more accurate than the built-in Google Translate. However, there is a downside – it's expensive. After weighing the efficiency of our team, we decided to purchase some anyway. Hopefully, the price will come down in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise solves the management from string creation to integration, and with the addition of automated translation features, efficiency is greatly boosted.

What do you like best about the product?
They work closely with their clients to find solutions that work for them and are always at hand to help, whether through consultancy, their handy 24/7 online chat-support, or just by their well-documented developer portal. Integration is simple, whether manually done via the GUI, or automated via their CLI/REST API. There are also a whole raft of additional integrations, such as the Figma plugin, that allow you to shift left the localisation process and create faster feedback loops, whilst maintaining consistency between the designs and your production app.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has been quite a lot of re-organisation going on, which means we've had to work with a rotating cast of Lokalise CSMs and Account Managers. We would also like more visibility of our long-standing feature requests and for these to be addressed at some point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lokalise provides a fully-fledged Translation Management Systems that solves the problem of businesses manually submitting translations requests in Spreadsheets, and often via email.
