Easy to set up, andd it just works

What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to set up, and it works seamlessly.

It takes a little while to manually quarantine emails.

Its eliminating tons of spam and phishing attempts.

Avanan: Best in Class Customer Service, Products, and Features

What do you like best about the product?
The program installed pretty much instantly with zero interference to our Office 365 Environment. The program itself is very robust and has a lot of cool features and they continue to add more as each update comes out. It has a very clean and intuitive user interface and it very easy to pick up on everything after your initial training session. There is also a level of customization to the menus and to the interfaces.

When creating custom queries there are hundreds of options and it will take time and practice to learn them all. However, you can submit any question to the customer support team, and they will answer anything you throw at them and help you understand.

I also like that it is API based. It works in conjunction with the standard office 365 security features, instead of replacing them and rendering them useless, like the other popular solutions on the market. This makes for a faster and more efficient experience in my opinion and from what I have seen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of any major dislikes or complaints. Any time I have had any issues or questions, I have been able to get it resolved or I have been able to get an answer form the support team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Avanan, we had no additional security for our Office 365 environment. Avanan was an option that was easily implemented and immediately started producing results with phishing and malware hits. The amount of stuff that Avanan has caught for us makes me wonder how much stuff was getting through before with the standard O365 protection and ATP. The major benefit to us as a company was protecting us from phishing, malware, or ransomware threats. This allows us to keep our business continuity without interruption.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend looking at Avanan in consideration for your Office 365 platform. It is an understatement to say the program is easy to use, and it powerful and useful. I have had a near perfect level of accuracy when it comes to hits on malicious emails.

I will absolutely be using them again if I were to ever move to a different job or company.

What do you like best about the product?
Avanan catches many of the phishing attempt emails that can sneak by Office 365 EOP. It alerts users that an item has been quarantined and allows them to request a review/release. Great functionality. Easy to set up and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really nothing to dislike - it just works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Avanan to augment Office 365's EOP in identifying and quarantining phishing email attempts. We've seen the number of phishing or otherwise malicious emails that get through to our users' inboxes drop significantly since onboarding. The tool is easy to set up and easy to use, both from the administrative side and for our end users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Well worth the investment.

What do you like best about the product?
The modular "a la carte" design and ability to choose between multiple security vendors to suit the organization's needs while providing an effective security layer to one of the largest attack vectors today - email.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web gui is not very intuitive and can be a little tricky to to navigate at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've eliminated the vast majority of SPAM and Malicious emails inbound to the organization while also having better control mechanisms for outbound data leaving the organization. We've had great success using Avanan as one of our security layers for email. The fact that Avanan sits infront of Microsoft ATP as the last filter is great as it gives us capabilities that other security solutions can't offer. We've also found that ATP doesn't capture everything, and it's great to increase our security posture by layering different solutions to work in tadem, and Avanan is a great addition
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend using Avanan and advise others to consider the security modules available for 3rd party integrations (Google Drive, Box, OneDrive, Gmail, etc.) Avanan does a great job at preventing data leakage, phishing campaigns, and malicious emails that other solutions, including O365 ATP, misses

Fast response on issues, the ability to lean on industry experts and the ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need a mobile application. As an on the go IT Administrator having the ability to look at issues on my smart phone help me to be more functional
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phishing and a high rate of impersonation attacks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you use GSUITE this is the best tool to use. It integrates very well and sits right in front of your mailbox. The price is great and the features are worth the price.

Avanan - Works Great! We Love it!

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to implement, helpful support and just works. As an SMB, we don't have full time dedicated security staff, but Avanan fills the gap perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love their dashboard, one really nice feature is that is shows is visually where logins / attempts are coming from. I would like to be able to do more with that feature, more alerts and filters, but I would bet they'll add more features soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The quarantine and "suspicious impersonation" features are very helpful in keeping our users aware and on guard.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see vulnerabilities in email security. It has really helped us beef up our email protection.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall a good product. Could be a little more user friendly with the search queries and tracking treats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Determining which users are compromised. We have realized that MFA is a must for most of our users.

What do you like best about the product?
Check Point Anti-Spam & Email Security works specifically to protect our email, I am very happy, because its configuration in our emails and company has been amazing we do not have any problem on how to use, since it is simple in the same way support is always attentive To collaborate in any situation, it is amazing to eliminate emails completely and eliminate garbage and open space for important information.
What do you dislike about the product?
 You do not have a specific problem with this sun because here it has not provided the necessary solution that we need to our system, we are very happy to have come to the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
 We solve many problems within the company, our corporate mail, they are used in a professional way and even so they can be filled with junk mail or spam, because of this it bothers a lot, since we lost our important information leaving behind, that is why we looked for a Solution or a filter to eliminate that is why Check Point Anti-Spam & Email Security is for us the best system and frees us from problems.

I recommend it because for us it has been perfect as it protects our mail, and frees us from those malicious emails or spam, we are very happy and free of problems thanks to Check Point Anti-Spam & Email Security, I recommend it.

Cannot manage gateways by separated. Meaning without using smart manager.

Best software to keep email safe from spam, virus and online attacks

What do you like best about the product?
After setting up Checkpoint spam and security, we stopped getting almost all spam. There were also no incidents from virus or online attacks. Their support teams were very helpful and patient in detailing how to work with the software.Our security team is a lot more relaxed as they have a secure system in place. Also, the fact that this software was made by Check Point gives us great confidence as they are leader in the industry and know what they are doing. The software is also incredibly smart in detecting spam not just based on the senders reputation but also based on content of the email sent. This was the one software to meet all of our requirements. The pricing was also well balanced.
What do you dislike about the product?
The set up process could have been easier. Perhaps it was mistakes on our end but it was a bit lenghty process to get the software running. Sometimes the anti smap filters were too agressive but atleast that easy to fix. This agressiveness is both an advantage and a pain for regular users. We want agrressive protection but the software should be able to recognize company specific emails that cannot possibly be spam. This might be something to look into. But still one of the best softwares for this task in the market. pros outweigh the cons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securing our email infrastructure againgst failure from attacks and ensuring their constant uptime. Blocking spam so employees are more productive.

Go for it. It certainly solved our issue with spam.
