Modern approach to email security
What do you like best about the product?
Avanan is simple to set up and does not require changing MX records which means there is no risk to the organization’s mail flow
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see more advances in phishing protection specifically as it relates to handling URLs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Avanan simplified our email security and provides us more insight than competitors like Proofpoint

What do you like best about the product?
Reports on Shadow IT have been helpful in pointing where process is breaking down and addressing any underlying issues that are causing staff to use other non approved file sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Partner portal still needs work, but has come a long way.

What do you like best about the product?
Sandboxing is one of key features that we started speaking with Avanan for the solution
What do you dislike about the product?
Fact that sandboxing is made on Avanan server which could sometimes become very hard to explain to clients

Mostly initiative was to solve mail sanboxing

Overall the products offers all what is written and it is not something that I don't like

The issues in regards to the attacks through e-mails were one of the most challenging part for us. Through Avanan Cloud Email Security we were able to overcome some internal issues which were founded by our team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In case you need san boxing and an ant-phishing tool, avanan is the best on offering such thing :).
A must tool for email hygiene
What do you like best about the product?
Good quality run-on-its own set of features, requires very little upkeep.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike - Avanan is a leader.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Native email tools and user education only go so far. Detection of email issues is high and consistent, at rates multiple times those of traditional tools.

The user interface is very user friendly

Currently at the moment I have not found anything.

Avanan has blocked phishing attempts and malware from hitting our networks.

Avanan cloud security has helped us tremendously with deterring phishing and malware attempts on our infrastructure. They have a very friendly user interface and their support is excellent. I would definitely recommend this product to any business who needs to stay secure in this day and age.
Avanan is one stop shop for Email Security
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Avanan for last 1 year and must say it does what it promises. It has all the key features and tools to keep end users safe from malware. phishing attacks and so much more. Everything is automated for us while the scan and protect is done all behind the scenes. Avanan is the way to go for email security!
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally don't have any dislikes since the user interface is well laid out and simplified to use. It has a nice dashboard that gives overview of email protection! As far it works, I got no issues at all!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have around 8 domains on Office 365 platform and have connected all of them with Avanan for filtering purpose. Avanan is helping to stop and block suspicious emails to end users.
Great way to protect your organization!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to identify which users are at risk for phishing and social engineering attempts and then taking the right course of action that they are equipped to deal with those tactics.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't really any downsides, other than the fact you have to pay for it.

We are now realizing the dividends paid for Security training and ensuring that staff understand the dangers of phishing attempts.
Easy to use and works very well
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and how intuitive the web console is.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI can't figure out impersonation emails by reclassification and needs a whitelist rule.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have reduced the number of phishing emails that our users receive by almost 100%. Has reduced the amount of manual remediation that we would have to do on a regular basis.

Best product for the pricing.
A must have tool for every MSP looking to offer robust security to their clients
What do you like best about the product?
Avanan has been instrumental in warding off the latest phishing and spam attempts inside our organization as well as our clients, it was SUPER easy to implement and we haven't had a single issue since we signed up with them. The user friendly dashboard makes it easy to navigate and I find myself using the built in tools instead of the ones provided by Microsoft. Every staff member that I have dealt with at Avanan has been top notch and super friendly. They provide us with all the necessary tools and marketing materials to go to our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have found so far is the inability to have only certain users covered, currently I am protecting entire companies which is great but I have some clients that only wish to have a handful of users covered. I am told this feature is right around the corner
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Avanan has helped me sleep better at night knowing that they have me and my clients covered. With the dramatic uptrend in phishing and spam attacks, Microsoft's ATP wasn't catching everything. Avanan has certainly stepped up to the plate and I wonder why I even bothered to sell ATP in the first place.
