Smooth Task Management and Reminders, But Needs More Role-Based Minimalism
What do you like best about the product?
Handling company tasks such as device compliance and employee onboarding has been extremely smooth. The reminders are excellent and really encourage me to return to the platform to check on any outstanding tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer if Vanta were more focused on user roles, displaying only the information that each person has access to. This would create a more minimalist and streamlined view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta has been instrumental in helping us maintain our SOC 2 compliance by overseeing all of our integrations and vendors. It provides clear visibility into which contacts we need to approach for SOC 2 reports and highlights any applications that require security reviews. Additionally, I appreciate being able to manage device compliance from a single, centralized location.
Comprehensive Detection and Tooling
What do you like best about the product?
It gives you the aws cli commands you need to do to resolve any flags. Strong alerting. Endpoint protection. In addition to the alerting it gives you the tools you need to ensure you pass your audit
What do you dislike about the product?
It’d be nice if it was bundled together with the audit, but they do a good job of connecting you with auditors that can use vanta to perform an audit
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting us secure quickly so we can ensure that we are audited and compliant for customers to see those successful audits
Effective policy templates, integrations to improve
What do you like best about the product?
All the policy templates, they saved us a lot of time
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no disadvantages, but some integrations do not bring the expected value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allowed us to obtain a global view of our security posture and easily share everything with senior management.

Vanta has helped streamline the documentation process by making it easier to organize requirements, tasks, and documents. It also simplifies the way people submit evidence, allowing them to upload directly into Vanta instead of relying on manual follow-ups and record keeping.

Vanta is very easy to understand and organized well. It really helps keep me on track and up to date on my company.

There are a lot of places on my homepage that I don't need to access so I guess that is a little confusing.

Vanta is a great platform. It is clear they have focused on comprehensively meeting the needs of those looking for unified compliance management and it is very easy to use!

Some gaps between what auditors ask and what is available for a given framework in Vanta.

Vanta Makes Compliance Effortless with AI Automation
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Vanta is how it streamlines the entire compliance process. Normally, dealing with compliance can be a real headache, but the platform’s AI automation takes care of the difficult tasks, from gathering evidence to continuously monitoring everything. This has made our compliance efforts much more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The primary downside is that getting Vanta completely set up can be a lengthy process. While they do provide guidance throughout the setup, it still requires significant time and coordination across various teams. This can be particularly challenging for smaller startups with limited resources. Additionally, their pricing structure isn't always very transparent at the outset, which makes it harder to budget for the service before you officially commit.

We’ve been using Vanta for a while now, and honestly, it’s been such a smooth experience. The platform is super easy to use, everything just makes sense, and it saves us so much time.
The support team is incredible. Whenever we have a question, they’re quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Plus, our account manager has been amazing, really proactive and always checking in to make sure we’re getting the most out of the platform.

If I had to pick something I dislike about Vanta, its a little pricey for smaller teams, and some of the customization options are limited if you have really specific processes. That said, once everything’s up and running, it works seamlessly and more than makes up for those small challenges.

Vanta helps us track our SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance all in one place. It makes it so much easier to manage everything, from policies and documentation to controls and compliance tasks. Instead of juggling multiple tools or spreadsheets, Vanta brings everything together in a single platform, so we always have a clear view of where we stand. It really streamlines the entire compliance process and keeps us audit-ready without all the manual effort.
