Great experience with Vanta as a tool, and smooth process with recommended auditors
What do you like best about the product?
Available integrations cover most of our tooling, and are easy to setup. Good communication with CSMs. Audit process is a lot easier compared to manual evidence collection and interviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
CSMs change very frequently. Some auditors require extra controls to be added manual, which seems unneccessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Save time on audit evidence collection and interviews. Keep ongoing check of our compliance. Keep vendor management documentation. Provide security training.
Excellent Tool to Automate and Organize Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Well done interface, has excellent prompting to ensure you stay on top of compliance needs. Good organization of compliance checklists, policies, and procedures. Functions very well as a source of truth on compliance standards and status.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is quite large and can be a bit daunting at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primary problem it solves is ensuring we don't miss anything in our various policies and procedures. Staying on top of compliance is a large task nowadays and Vanta puts it all together to give you a source of truth and an excellent memory bank to all policies as well as what steps are needed to stay in compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Policy template is easy to use. Integration with AWS and Github easies evidence creation. We can check readiness status before schedulding an audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Risk scenarios are tricky to use, and snapshots could be out of sync at times. Automated tests are two-edged swords, and you can't upload alternate evidence or test results to override the automated test results.

Simplifying the security compliance and attestation process by integrating with AWS for evidence collection.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is a very useful tool for meeting compliance standards. It helps fill in certain gaps in terms of compliance which can be a major time saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta is a very useful tool, but could also lean towards the pricer side, especiaclly for smaller and newer companies. Vanta does a great job of automating processes, but often tasks can be flaged for minor issues that require human intervention to resolve, sometimes leading to false positives.

Obtaining and maintaining our ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

Consolidated tool for compliance, best practices and policy creation
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to link controls to policies and test these regularly to ensure compliance with best practices
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires multiple integrations manually done, doesnt have a discovery option where a single SSO can be used to explore all authenticated tools and integrate them in one go.

Ensuring the organisation is compliant with all requirements for the ISMS as detailed in the ISO 27001 framework

A steep learning curve (at the beginning)

Vanta is allowing us to work towards multiple certifications concurrently. We can easily track progress and ID blockers quickly.

SOC 2 Compliance
Vanta excellent, but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the Vanta UI makes monitoring, assigning, and addressing our security goals extremely easy. The tracking keeps you up to date on where your team is at and what tasks you need to pay attention to. This has been extremely helpful in acheiving our ISO 27001-2022 certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
The test explanation and processes can be confusing at times. The language used can very greatly on automated tests, making some simple to understand and some left scratching your head.

Vanta is simplifying our security checks and ISO certification process.
