What do you like best about the product?
Reduction in complexity though guidance and automation. Tasks that are due notificatiions help drive the work needed to meet timeline goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downside found yet. Bugs or issues discovered were quickly and professional addressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complex compliance needs are reduced to easy workflows.
TOP NOTCH - Vanta is the most complete comply-tech tool that's out there right now.
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is the complete platform. If you run a Security and Compliance team, Vanta is the first tool you should add to your stack because they give you services that allow you to address key security. We're using Vanta for SOC 2 Type II and it has made the preparation for the audit so easy and straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta moves super super fast! Their changes are impactful, beautiful, and user focused. Nothing at all wrong here! All I would ask for is that comms are sent out when changes are made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so challenging to keep up to date with all COSO principles and Vanta does that for you, makes it extremely easy to reference all evidence that is uploaded, and makes it even easier to see what the auditor sees exactly, so that we know what to address and what gaps are present.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is an excellent platform for maintaining security compliance. As a startup SaaS company, we could not have done SOC2 compliance in such as short time without Vanta. I like how this platform helps automate evidence and streamline the process all the way through the audit process. It's a one-stop shop for everything you need for security and regulatory compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything that needs to be fixed with Vanta. The Customer Success Manager was always there to help when I run into any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having SOC2 security compliance is critical to our business growth and Vanta made it easy for us to accomplish that goal.
Solving a screaming painpoint in the world of compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I almost didn't need the help of the CS/onboarding team at all - that's how good the onboarding experience is inside of Vanta. You just follow a very intuitive UI and make your way towards whatever certificate you're pursuing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really if I'm honest. Maybe that ideally it would be cheaper but I'm also happy to pay the price given how good the product is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We went through a hefty enterprise deal where we signed a big customer - our first of this size. They demanded us to step up our security gain and pursue a SOC2 type II which is why we went for Vanta.
Simplified Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use interface. Trustworthy teams and processes. A positive outcome for results in getting out SOC-2 Type 2 compliance. as well as subsequent renewals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to pay extra for features that feel like they should be included. I recommend negotiating them into your contract as leverage to secure your business.

Great functionality and ease of understanding security....
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and the fact of handling everything in one single platform to manage all of our security guidelines, policies and procedures, as well as be able to know exactly what's missing to be compliant in any certification we pursue. Priceless.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit pricey, but compared to value obtained and flexibility of being able to manage multiple cloud and services integrations, probably worth it. Would definitely ask for discounts on ongoing future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are pursuing SOC 2 Type I/II compliance for our company, and we didn't know where to begin. With Vanta we are thrilling ahead and working as fast as possible to become a SOC2/Type I compliant company and get our customer's certainty that we are a secure company to work with.

I love their partnership with VioletX that made it even easier.

There is nothing that I have run into at Vanta so far. The only question I had was a login that I kept seeing to our PEO but they said it was a manual check.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta allowed me to get my policies set up quickly and efficiently. As a start up COO/CLO this freed me up to work on other aspects of our company.
Smooth Auditing with Vanta, But Pricey AI Features
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the significant value and efficiency gains Vanta offers over traditional auditing processes. The constant development and improvements in usability are impressive, making Vanta a leader in its field. I find the integration with the Google stack and Notion very helpful as it minimizes manual work. The ease of use and seamless collaboration with auditors are key reasons I would choose Vanta again in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like having to pay extra for AI features in Vanta. It feels frustrating that these features are not included in the main offering and require an additional cost. It's something I would prefer to see bundled with the standard package rather than being a separate charge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product facilitates ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification smoothly, enhances audit preparation efficiency, reduces manual tasks by integrating with tools like Google and Notion, and offers ease of use and auditor collaboration.
Simplify the Evidence Collection, Kill Many Birds with One Stone
What do you like best about the product?
I like the common controls library and the cross mapping to various frameworks. The really helps out companies that have regs in various jursidictions or operate under several frameworks. You can really be audit ready all the time if your evidence owners are on top of their uploads.

What do you dislike about the product?
The access review module is okay but it's limited when compared to point solutions. The inability to perform a managerial review of user accounts feels like it's just checking the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The constant manual nagging of evidence owners during a small audit window. With Vanta, I'm able to assign Tests and let the system do the nagging in bulk. I only need to step in if we are down to the wire.
