Vanta saves eng time and reduces sales cycles
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta made it super easy and fast to get our SOC2 report. It's saved us an enormous amount of valuable engineering hours. It has definitely shortened our sales cycle as well, and given us credibly with larger enterprise prospects/clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really - they have been cranking out great product on their roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need SOC2 to sell to larger clients, and Vanta gets us there fast

SOC2 made easy for someone with no compliance experience
What do you like best about the product?
The Vanta team has been kind, accommodating, and patient with us, and giving as much/as little help as we request. They've been great partners throughout our SOC2 compliance process. The platform is intuitive, easy to use, and integrates with nearly every tool we use. As the project manager of our company's SOC2, it's been easy to identify the steps and delegate out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The SOC2 process is very unique and tailored to the company executing the compliance framework. I wish Vanta were able to give more direct "advice" since we are new to a lot of the topics around SOC2, but I understand that many of these decisions are things we have to decide on our own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps us understand all the distinct steps that are required to achieve SOC2, connects us with an auditor partner, and does a lot of the pre-work and thinking for us. It means we can achieve SOC2 compliance in a fraction of the time and make the process a lot more accessible and easy to complete.
Vanta software has made our compliance journey a breeze!
What do you like best about the product?
Our favorite feature is being able to pull examples for all the required documents/policies. It makes the process much easier. We used Practical Assurance when we first started, and it was not user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if the document samples would automatically pick up the company name and branding. It's not a deal breaker but would be speed things up!

The onboarding, implementation, and overall support were fantastic. Each team member along the way was extremely knowledgable, organized, and easy to work with.

Hard to say, nothing sticks out. We had a great experience using the platform.

Vanta makes security compliance very accessible for Health Tech Startups
What do you like best about the product?
The workflow integrations with Vanta are incredible with our service providers AWS, Cloudflare, Gusto, Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, etc. Vanta provides actionable alerts on how we can quickly remediate any security problems. They also built easy-to-use policies that made it easy for us to speed up our security onboarding. We went through our SOC-2 audit quickly with the assistance of Vanta.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had a few different point persons with Vanta at any given time. I've been confused about who is our actual "point of contact". It would have been clearer if our point of contact remained more consistent from sign-up through the onboarding process and during our SOC-2 audit.

Almost mandatory for small companies to achieve SOC 2
What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Vanta, our small company was able to tackle SOC 2 certification without breaking the bank. Their checklists and automation tools were incredibly helpful, and we couldn't have done it without them. Plus, their customer service was quick and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing can be a bit unclear due to some features being only accessible through an additional paywall.

Vanta helps us achieve and maintain compliance for SOC 2 (and maybe more in the future).
Great tool to navigate through certification requirements
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta helped us identify the areas we needed to work toward our certification. Then integration with AWS and Azure AD saves us a lot of time in continuously monitoring our systems and making sure that we remain compliant and that the whole process is not a "one-time exercise".
Our Customer Success Manager (Taylor Buckler) helped us from day one until certification, and we were not dropped after the onboarding period.
As a product, there are a lot of new features getting released often enough to keep us engaged.

What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few product glitches and issues in the early stages, especially since some features were released during our onboarding. However, Vanta Support and Taylor were there to assist us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us get ready for our auditing, not only with the tools (i.e., Vanta templates or integration with AWS) but by also providing a "meter" as to how close we are. It is exciting seeing that you are at 50% and then do a few things and go to 60% and keep trying to get to 100%. Once you cross the 95% mark, it feels like hitting a high score on a video game!
Of course, keeping the meter at a high level is the second part of the game after the certification, and Vanta makes it easy to identify areas that need attention. So it is not a one-time tool, but an ongoing essential part of our business.

Not perfect but in constant improvement
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful about Vanta is being able to organize, view, measure and monitor your requirements and their status. Best thing about working with Vanta is definitely their team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very customizable, so it was sometimes difficult to adapt to a small company like ours. The Vanta team is always happy to receive feedback and improvement wishes, and some were even implemented.

Vanta is centralizing all our effort in one tool, which makes our work so much easier and saved us a lot of time.

A great tool for evidence tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has been extremely helpful in organizing and tracking security controls within our organization. It helped save me time by automatically collecting most of the evidence required for our SoC2 audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integrations list is still somewhat limited. The UI is very busy and rigid.
