What do you like best about the product?
Does the job of keeping compliant very well and keeps track of all assets, warns you about tests and upcoming SLA breaches.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps organizations streamline and automate their compliance processes. It simplifies the often complex and time-consuming tasks associated with maintaining compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
Vanta has proven effective in helping get ready for ISO27001 certification and during audits
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to set up and use. Draft policies are helpful, though I wrote my own generally. The list of tasks/evidence to gather is helpful as well for preparing for a first external audit. The integrations help keep track of various controls. Customer support and account management has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it has proven helpful in the first year, it isn't clear it retains the value in an ongoing capacity after achieving certifiction. I'm looking forward to new features and functions that will grow the value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I purchased Vanta ISO27001, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance suites. I used Vanta when creating our ISMS from the ground up. Vanta helped me get to compliance faster and helped me achieve certification.
no brainer if you are going for soc 2 compliance

it's just a good system for doing a lot of things that are usually incredibly manual and painful to track and keep organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish they would do the compliance audits and not outsource it to auditing firms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically single handidly got us to the point where we can say we are soc 2 compliant.
Helpful Platform to Attain SOC II Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Easy-to-use platform that does not take much time to learn. Steps needed to attain SOC II compliance are clearly laid out and draft policies exist. Great onboarding and support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like more exportable checklists and integrations that are easy to understand and free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not being SOC II Compliant or having a security program in place

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy and convenient to implement and use out-of-the-box, there are many supported integrations and the support is good. I use it daily to monitor our complaince status.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's the most expensive compliance automation system, and they charge extra for each module that is typically included in other platforms (user access review, trust center, security questionnaires, etc.).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Vanta to manage our SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 security compliance programs.

I can see the state of different certifications all in one place.

Lack of automatization. It would be possible to fix some tests automatically, I wish Vanta would have solution for that.

Vanta keeps you honest. With the tracking SLA's, regular reminders and the dashboard ensure that tasks don't fall through the cracks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Managing the scope of users is a bit tedious. Some integrations don't distinguish clients from employees which requires frequent de-scoping.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Supporting the collection and management of evidence for our SOC2 Type2 audits.
