great tool for ISO 27001 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
- ease of use
- detailed reporting
- live reports with data flowing into Vanta from external apps
- customer support is friendly
- I use it on a daily basis to keep on top of the different compliance aspects of my function

What do you dislike about the product?
- newest visual update has some issues, which are fairly common across other vendors too (clicking on stuff pops the side of the browser in front of the list you were viewing)
- could use more integrations
- some of the MDM tools don't report all the required information (granted, this is more on the 3rd party vendors, but Vanta could incentivize them or pressure them)

mainly the ISO 27001 certification, but also to get a better security posture overall
It's all in one place
What do you like best about the product?
Everything that can be tied to an automatic process is done so with simple connectors. Baseline mapping is accurate and ready to deploy out of the box. It's simple to use, all in one place, and customizable. If it's manual, and you can't fix it, neither can Vanta, but at least there is a spot for ownership, note taking, and automation around facilitation and reminders. Overall, very easy to integrate and implement, customer support has been good so far and the updates seen in frequent use, as well as reminders, can be adjusted to hit your sweet spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could load a little faster. It's occasionally sluggish. Overall not a lot to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC 2 Compliance and Policy Distribution. It does a great job tracking and assisting us to completing various SOC2 compliance issues. A very easy policy distribution tool.
Great automatic scanning, sometimes the tickets are given a priority that doesn't reflect reality

The automatic syncing with all the resources.

Lack of prioritisation of the tickets, specifically the git ones.

It helps automatically identify any compliance gaps we may have missed.

product still has a lot of bugs and incomplete features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aspects of vanta that are running well have been great value-add:
* User governance - Including notificaitons when this degrades in our environment.
* General alerts when anything degrades that I care about (eg. open port 22 on internet)
* Great to track ISO27 compliance progress.

Excellent UX!
What do you like best about the product?
Plenty of integrations, straightforward UI, and very streamlined experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
They're missing some integrations for lesser-known SaaS, e.g. Strapi, Zitadel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is driving out SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audit process, which would be an absolute nightmare without it. The integrations with GitHub and AWS are very helpful in monitoring for 3rd-party CVEs!

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is awesome in the proactive sense. It regularly monitors and keeps us on track all year long instead of adding more work at audit time. And the integrations to our current tools (such as AWS and Google Workspace) actually work.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Vanta covers a lot of GDPR, there are a few very specific areas (like data subject request handling) where it needs some more functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our partnership with Vanta enables us to prove that we follow GDPR rules to european customers which helps us grow our business there.

I use Vanta everyday for our SOC II Compliance and I like that it has a lot of detail in it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike pretty much the same thing that it is so details, it is hard to get lost in the details.

Helping us streamline our documents and processes so we can pass the audit.
The best Compliance planform, bar none
What do you like best about the product?
The vast amount of pre approved temlates and ease of intergation with every type of system you may have makes it a breeze to setup and run.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's vast and complicated, but they do a great job of helping you get through it all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting a SOC 2 certification and it is saving us a ton of time and money getting that. It also allows us to get the most out of having that certificatin with Vanta'sTrust Center
