Vanta helps me for Real-time Risk Monitoring

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta helps me in real time risk monitoring , Automated Evidence Collection, Automated Compliance Monitoring etc, Also I can handle sensitive data without fear
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that there is limited customization for unique needs,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
vanta solves my main challenges related to security compliance, risk management etc.

A GRC Platform to Watch

What do you like best about the product?
In addition to the many of the out-of-the-box features, Vanta's customer support is phenomenal! Regardless of market size, the team is always supportive when issues arise or we can't find the answers we need. Product Feedback is heavily appreciated and is put into future sprints; our team has seen many new features pushed out based upon feedback we've given and this continues to enhance the platform even further.

Ease of use for those who are not familiar with GRC platforms is a huge selling point. Setting up integrations and getting your GRC program up and running makes it incredibly easy for the end user; whether its a seasoned IT professional or a new compliance analyst. Did I also mention they have the HITRUST framework available; out of the box!! No more manually monitoring or logging into MyCSF all the time - a huge time and resource saver that immediately provides ROI for any organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
While we've had some issue with a certain 3rd party integration, Vanta has continued to make themselves and their engineers available to help resolve (even though the issue lies with the other 3rd party and not Vanta). Vanta was able to partner with us and the 3rd party to resolve the issue and ensure bi-directional feed of data from the 2 platforms.

So, dislikes? Hard to account for because they are continually innovating on their product and taking steps to shore up any items that present gaps or discourage an end user from a positive experience when using Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform is allowing a small but mighty team to have a holistic view of our overall compliance program and the health of it and its supporting programs and processes. It allows for organizational transparency and reduces the audit fatigue that can occur with technical teams. Clients can easily self-serve any evidentiary objects needed to complete an audit without having additional resources involved. This saves so much time when completing security questionnaires as we can direct clients to the Trust Center to self-serve these objects. While we still receive security questionnaires, anything a client can't glean from the Trust Center is easily tackled in the Vanta Questionnaire Automation, thanks to our beefy knowledge bank and the magic AI on the backend. It's like having 2-3 GRC analysts on hand at all times! At the end of the day, Vanta helped us move from spreadsheets to a centralized location that isn't tamperable and allows for stakeholders to drill into specific metrics and areas to ensure compliance.

What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to use and what I like to most is the convenient features and the detailed information provided here. I was able to learn and adapt the information I had using Vanta.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I don't see anything that may lead to disatisfaction for this application since I had a great experience and knowledge I learned.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is there's a lot of fraud nowadays and it teaches us how to be more aware of that and how to avoid it by protecting your personal details and be alert for whom you talked to.

The ease of the platform that walks you through necessary steps and the best customer service I have received from any platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the email notifications make it easy to navigate but upon log in you may not know where exactly to go for the highest priority items.

What do you like best about the product?
That it offers templates and guidance when developing documents and that it can directly correlate these to controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's some documentation and controls which need to be disabled based on type of business, ie not a company with a physical address.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us in our ISO 27001 accreditation.

What do you like best about the product?
- ease of use
- detailed reporting
- live reports with data flowing into Vanta from external apps
- customer support is friendly
- I use it on a daily basis to keep on top of the different compliance aspects of my function
What do you dislike about the product?
- newest visual update has some issues, which are fairly common across other vendors too (clicking on stuff pops the side of the browser in front of the list you were viewing)
- could use more integrations
- some of the MDM tools don't report all the required information (granted, this is more on the 3rd party vendors, but Vanta could incentivize them or pressure them)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
mainly the ISO 27001 certification, but also to get a better security posture overall

It's all in one place

What do you like best about the product?
Everything that can be tied to an automatic process is done so with simple connectors. Baseline mapping is accurate and ready to deploy out of the box. It's simple to use, all in one place, and customizable. If it's manual, and you can't fix it, neither can Vanta, but at least there is a spot for ownership, note taking, and automation around facilitation and reminders. Overall, very easy to integrate and implement, customer support has been good so far and the updates seen in frequent use, as well as reminders, can be adjusted to hit your sweet spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could load a little faster. It's occasionally sluggish. Overall not a lot to complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC 2 Compliance and Policy Distribution. It does a great job tracking and assisting us to completing various SOC2 compliance issues. A very easy policy distribution tool.

Lack of prioritisation of the tickets, specifically the git ones.

product still has a lot of bugs and incomplete features.

Aspects of vanta that are running well have been great value-add:
* User governance - Including notificaitons when this degrades in our environment.
* General alerts when anything degrades that I care about (eg. open port 22 on internet)
* Great to track ISO27 compliance progress.
