Makes compliance work easier

Compliance framework tracking (like ISO).

Some of the integration tests take a while to load.

What do you like best about the product?
The help it provided with creating our policies as well as automating the testing of our security framework.

It didn't have the TISAX framework, but it was customizable so that we could find a solution nonetheless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is not toally solving but providing the main leverage tool to keep our information secure and inform us when there are risks.
Vanta has demystified the compliance process for us
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's very easy and intuitive to use, even if you don't know much about compliance yet. The detailed descriptions in each test and control helps you understand what it's asking for, and the customer success team are very helpful with questions you can't answer yourself. We use Vanta every day and it was very quick and easy to get set up on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta's pretty expensive and each additional feature comes with a cost. Often this is worth it, because when customers require a compliance standard you're guaranteeing being able to meet and maintain that standard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta's enabled us to get SOC2 certified and maintain the certification in an easy and seamless way.

Easy to use and good support. Makes our company's life easier for compliance.

Price could be cheaper. GDPR and HIPPA specifically.

Compliance guarantees for us to show to our customers.
Powerful and indispensable app for compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to get setup, fantastic UX, top nothc support. App you cannot live without once it is implemented and you need to maintain your SOC2 or ISO certifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Manual refresh for some tests can be just a bit painful.

Most complete GRC solution to start enterprise compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations with other SaaS tools including CSP, HR, MDM, and etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you have multiple frameworks, the administration of maintaining can be demanding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I maintain SOC 2/3, ISO 27001 and HIPAA for a startup. This is my focal point for managing those compliance frameworks.
Vanta gives you confidence in your compliance and security
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Vanta are all of the integrations they have with the other software in our ecosystem. It plugs in directly with AWS, Justworks, Chekr and Mosyle so I can be confident all of these are set up correctly.The dashboard gives me a great overview of any outstanding complicance items without me having to really dig in. The integrations also make implementation easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the complaince checks take some time to update so even if you've done something they won't rigger as done for a few minutes. Can make it a little confusing to make sure you've completed a task.

Making sure we are HIPAA compliant
Vanta - helping a small start-up gain SOC 2
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta was intrusmental in helping our start up gain SOC 2 compliance. Their main tool was very intuitive and our CSM gave us many helpful bits of information to further streamline the process. I mainly worked on building out the documents and their pre-populated templates saved a ton of time. It also seems like it will be very helpful in keeping our SOC 2 renewal each year. I know our Devops teams really liked having the easy integration abilties of their various tools into Vanta
What do you dislike about the product?
Some parts of the user experience are complicated and its hard to gain all the context needed for what you need to do. As a small startup you dont always have the right people working on the right things so it was difficult to figure stuff out. We used Miria Security (recommended by Advantage partners) and that was pretty helpful to push us over the finish line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to gain SOC 2 for some of our existing client contracts and some of our future work that we are going after.
A good tool to streamline certification management
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is great at providing guidance and tools to support the process of meeting the requirements for various certification standards as well as maintaining them ongoing. Unless you have a dedicated staff to work on these standards, a tool such as Vanta is essential in making the process digestible.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't any major downsides the product overall - I would just cite little things. I wish there was a more straightforward way to search the platform. Search queries seem to be limited to sections and the universal searching isn't all that helpful. There also seems to have been a lot of turnover in the 2 or so years that we've been a customer making it difficult to know who our main point of contact is. Vanta does not put a lot of effort into proactive personalized communications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta has enabled us to fulfill our goal of being ISO27001 and SOC2 compliant. Achieving this goal would have been very difficult, if not improbable, without Vanta to guide us through the process and provide us with the tools to develop our policies and procedures that support these standards. It's also great to have a platform that alerts us to the tasks we need to perform to maintain compliance with the standards.
