Easy Privacy and Security Compiance
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is incredibly thorough. It provides deep insight and guidance into the necessary processes and steps that we need to implement for comliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can be overwhelming and unclear. Often the claimed automation is lacking and/or locked behind a paywall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Vanta to obtain GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance.
Great for easing into SOC2
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate alerts into Slack channels so I dont need to rely on email
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sometimes confusing to have so many views that relay similar information, e.g. Vanta tests then layer into the different SOC2 tests, etc. And then different tabs (seem to) lead to the same information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting ready for SOC2 audit. Vanta makes it easy to get all the requirements set up and ready for our audit.

Easy to check and track the compliance status.

Would be better a dashboard which is configurable.

The purpose of Vanta to remain Soc2 compliant is necessary

The People page can be confusing with multiple entries per person but not for everyone

Great experience. Surprised by the quality, ease and guidance.
What do you like best about the product?
Straightforward. Helpful. Great for newbies (non privacy / security gurus). Easy integration. Very helpful examples to write policies from scratch. Quick response on questions. We moved from zero to audit ready in about 75 days. Trust Center has been a real plus!
What do you dislike about the product?
The Sales cycle could have been easier but we weren't immediately ready to respond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped us become compliant with GDPR and SOC-2. It also helps us build confidence with prospects and customers through their Trust Center.
A Comprehensive Assessment of Compliance and Security Enhancement
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Vanta is its comprehensive approach to security and compliance. It's a versatile tool that simplifies the often complex and time-consuming process of meeting certification standards. Good fit for smole tems. Integration with IT assets alos is very smooth and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could have more connectors to various services. There is no way to partialy agregate issues and create Jira tickets. I can only combine them all or create one ticket per issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the small team it allows to automate a lot of compliance checks and more easily prepare to the upcoming certification audit.
Helping a business go from woe to go
What do you like best about the product?
The suite that is offered by Vanta for complaiance (in our case ISO27001:2022 and ASCS Essential 8) has driven great progress in our compliance journey.
We went from running around all over the place with little to no idea on what to do and where to start (this involved many red herrings and going down unrequired rabbit holes), to powering full steam ahead in the right direction to collect and aggregate all the required information.
The platform has shown where our short falls are, and we were able to implement the missing components, processes and applications within our infrastructure and business, to achieve the desired outcomes.
The information for the tasks and outstanding documents has been a great help in pointing us in the right direction to achieve the requirements, and their help documentation has aided in missing configurations, and misconfigured settings with some of our products.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features, like being able to rerun tests was not popping at first to know that we could manually rerun these tests, rather then having to wait for vanta to reschedule these. After realising that the text is also a button this was quickly rectified. Out side of this, there has not been anything else against the system provided by Vanta.
