Organize the audit chaos
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has been fantastic about keeping us in compliance month or month. No end of year surprises!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish PCI tool was more auditmated and thorough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Interfacing with auditors, gathering evidence, and organiztion documents.

What do you like best about the product?
They do a good job and they're not overpriced

Nothing - as a non-technical user involved in the process, it would be good to be looped in on final reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vendor diligence by customers; helpful for investor diligence too
Very good pricing for a small web agency and good onboarding.

I like their pricing and the initial sales call was very informative and to the point.

We are in the in between stage right now [between VIOLEX and the audit group] and we feel a bit lost.

SOC II compliance that we require to have to be able to sell hosting and web development to banks.

What do you like best about the product?
You get a well-structured format for your compliance journey. It's quite easy to use with a ton of documentation to get you started. The platform is easy to understand and the team is very helpful with answering questions.
The most used features for us have been policy creation, tracking onboarding /offboarding of employees, Vanta's in-built MDM, and pulling of automated tests.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not exactly a downside, but the addition of new tests can take you by surprise sometimes. Especially if you are not checking the dashboard every day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is automating most of the manual data collection for our SOC2 Type II compliance. It makes it easier to record and keep proofs for the auditors to review, as well as alert us within SLA for any outstanding gaps in our compliance.
Nice evolving platform, saves a lot of time for a CISO.
What do you like best about the product?
People monitoring, automation of of a lot of different tasks in particular with all integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Impossible to manage with a non-Vanta auditor.

Automate our control plan for ISO27001 and ISO27701
More intuitive than competitors I've used
What do you like best about the product?
We were using a competitor before but never really did understand how to use it properly. Vanta is much more intoitive and claear in how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a pre-revenue startup it is a bit expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're enterprise SaaS, so we need to be SOC2 and GDPR compliant, Vanta is helping with getting the nessesary policies and security measures in place.

What do you like best about the product?
The inbuilt templates are very helpful and provide an excellent framework for policies etc and having a dedicated account manager is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can get a little overwhelmed with all the requirements, however this is where having a experienced accont maager is very useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clients are demanding more and more around secuirty and compliance. We sell a SaaS product to public sector and large commercial clients so need to show compliance with industry standards such as SOC2 Type II.
Focus and Guidance
What do you like best about the product?
The process and links are all in the one spot. The tool has been set up to streamline the entire process. The support team are great and regularly track and prompt as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but something useful would be to enable an email follow up directly from within the solution to an external party.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The solution has enabled us to renew our ISO27001 accreditation (self assessed) and given us a clear image of what full accreditation will look like
Great framework for swift certifications
What do you like best about the product?
Great support and all assets in place to get going. Integrations and automated complinace checks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is well-structured but takes some time to learn. Document management could be smarter, e.g time consuming to make updates across several files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needed a tool to do a certification in a short time frame and without using external consultants.
Vanta was foundational to our HIPAA compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta connects to all your different vendors (HR, payroll, background checks) to give you a more complete picture of your compliance than just your cloud security posture.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was difficult to provision an external auditor's access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you're a small startup - its much easier for our technical team to check the tasks in Vanta to adhere to best practices in security than to hire full/part time resources with the same level of knowledge.
