Vanta is fairly easy to use especially given the complexity of SOC compliance

Finding the menu selection that you are looking for isn't always intuitive

It is allowing us to obtain SOC II compliance

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to view a dashboard and see exactly where we might be lacking with either documentation, a security check or a report etc is invaluable and makes it move along very quickly in the compliance journey.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can get get high with the modules

Helping us get our new product SOC 2 compliant - to be able to be sell in cloud marketplace.
Vanta is an excellent tool for tech literate indivduals

Vanta helps us make sure we meet our compliance obligations from a legal perspective as well as the procedures and policies outlined within our organization specifically.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the critical features that are necessary to complete some of the challenging tasks related to our compliance needs are behind a paywall and sold as an additional feature, such as the asset review utililty.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that regulatory reviews of our security posture are being adhered to.

What do you like best about the product?
If you have owned compliance or performed compliance duties in the past, Vanta just makes everything easier. Very clear steps to increase complaince and integrations to automate tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve for employees not familiar with compliance. Some of the integrations over automate and you have to spend some time configuring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with large organizations in the healthcare space who typically expect proof HIPAA compliance or SOC2. Vanta makes it easy to generate a report to provide to customers.

I like visibility that is created by Vanta. It is easy to track the progress and status of cotrols. It helps to share responsibilites and control the execution

I do not have anytions to mentioned here.

It helps us to keep complaince issues in one place.
Simplified and automated SOC2 & HIPAA Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The automated tests and integrations with cloud providers makes assesing and auditing infrastructure super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some key features are behind other paywalls, like Access, that would just make sense to have as a base feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta automates our infrastructure audits for compliance purposes. Instead of needing to upload screenshots of countless infrastructures in AWS, Vanta queries and aggregates the data for us.

UI may be a bit confusing sometimes, but they are improving

Compliance management and follow-up is much easier with Vanta, notably for SOC2

At times, false positives from the Vanta agent.

The Vanta Agent (installed on computers) could be improved in terms of visibility (which laptops are missing) and ease of installation
