Vanta takes the manual admin out of compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The effectiveness of the tool with it's many integrations and automated tests that enable efficient, timely and hassle free compliance and knowledge that your info-sec is continuously monitored
Ease of use and implementation - UX is straight forward and much of the operation can be done without assistance.
Primarily and the support from Vanta personnel is excellent.

What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation was updated durinf audit, but this was a minor inconvenience and could be toggled on/off.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preparing for security compliance certification is a complex and burdensome from admin point of view process. Moreover, when a company wants to do a certification on several frameworks that span accross geographies, but do have overlap, it becomes even more challenging to have efficient security management process and avoid redundant work. Vanta is great in doing exactly this - helps you to focus on the important things, provides clear guidance on what and why needs to be done, as well as where it has an impact and relevance. We use three frameworks, and are getting ready for SOC 2 certification, as at the same time we want to make sure that we are HIPAA and GDPR compliant as well. It saves us a lot of time.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's interface is clean and fast, which is a refreshing change from other similar tools I've used in the past. The product works flawlessly in general.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations, particular AWS, could be more customizable. For example, instances in auto-scaling groups can be difficult to manage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's been helping us consolidate several large spreadsheets into a more dynamic, web-based system.

What do you like best about the product?
The best customer support from any software we've purchased to date. Immediately responsive and connect us to any potential resources we might need.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that as a first timer in the world of SOC2, they'd taught me more about what to expect with regards to future fees with auditors etc.

Making it easy to become and stay compliant

We use it for SOX compliance, this tool really help us in better auditing. I also like the support what they provide. Also gives some nice integration capibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to say! They have a really good UI. I would say implementation could have been better and faster.

This is a great tool if you are focusing more on compliance oriented issues. We also use if for shadow IT as it give us more information about the users that are using restricted apps through google Oauth.

I love how this tool has so many features. Its a one stop shop for all our compliance needs

This tool lacks the ability to assign users and add-hoc checklist with a start and due date.

Its puts everything in one place and it highlights where the gaps are and whats pending input
Very Useful for Managing Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Picking which compliance modues to use. Then having all of the requirements laid out for completing each task make it easy to use. They are very responsive for customer support. There are a variety of integrations that caused us to switch some of our providers to make Vanta easier to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. It works well. It would be nice if they had package deals on pricing when you get muliple modules. Or bundles like 3 modules for XXX or 5 modules for YYY.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We decided to become SOC 2 compliant. We first approached an accounting firm, which was expensive and very time consuming. There was often miscommunication. Vanta's controls are laid out very well making it easy to use. We liked it so much that we added the PCI module and are working through it.
Streamlined Compliance With Ease
What do you like best about the product?
The centralized experience of having all controls, tests, and documents sorted in a single place. Having the assistance of Vanta Support for technical platform issues or questions, and the advise of the CSM for compliance matters.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration extent is not 100%, Vanta didn't offered integration to all of our tech stack

They helped us to comply with the SOC2 Type 2 security framework.
Almost SOC in a box
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta's automated evidence gathering is essential to compliance alignment. The progress tracking eases managment's understanding of complexities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been some UI updates that have removed some helpful information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We provide unique solutions and have been getting pressure from several clients to get ISO27001 or equivalent certification including SOC2. Our orgainzation has been executing in startup/growth mode and this helps communicate maturity opportunities.

All doc uploaded and covers all aspects of GRC.
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many alerts, some are false alerts. Vanta needs to find a way to minimize the alerts.
