What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a warehouse for security, compliance, and technical documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how not intuitive or user friendly the upload process is, as well as the edit process is after you upload a questionnaire.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great tool to share the same documents with clients and ensure that we have the most up to date documentation readily available. It helps to make sure everyone has access to the same info.

What do you like best about the product?
I work for an organization that uses Vanta, and it's super easy to use. It helps me stay up to date with company policies and ensures I'm following best practices for security on my MacBook.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really, it does exactly what it should, and I haven’t run into any issues using it so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helps my company stay compliant with security standards like SOC 2 by automating checks and keeping policies up to date. As an employee, it makes it easy for me to stay secure without needing to worry about the technical details.

What do you like best about the product?
We’ve been using Vanta to manage our security compliance needs, and the experience has been outstanding. The platform makes what is typically a complex and time-consuming process much more manageable, especially when preparing for certifications like SOC 2
What do you dislike about the product?
While Vanta covers a wide range of integrations, there are a few niche tools we use that aren't yet supported. It would also be helpful if reporting options were more customizable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It clearly outlines the steps needed to become audit-ready and keeps us on track with actionable tasks. This structure reduced a lot of the uncertainty around what was required for our first SOC 2 certification.

Excellent Security Tool

What do you like best about the product?
The visibility into all the tools and features used by the organization is fantastic. It simplifies the process to be able to have a single source of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Minor gripe, but the lack of dark mode is disappointing. Beyond that, I don't have much negative to save re: the tool except that it can be difficult to navigate at times due to the sheer volume of capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compliance tracking and visibility across all of the tools used by the organization.

What do you like best about the product?
The Trust Center is amazing and saves so much time. Also the tracking of all compliance tasks. Ability to share with auditors
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing obvious comes to mind. Vanta has worked really well for what we require.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to run smoother audits, stay secure, keep up to date on tasks, and allows our customers to access documents via the Trust Center

Decent enough auditing software, dreadful bolted on acquisitions

What do you like best about the product?
Generally it's just fine for compliance work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Vanta acquired Trustpage and have not noticeably improved the product at all. The AI performs terribly compared to other modern models and constantly hallucinates answers or makes up something far worse than just using previous examples to the same question. It also can't help being overly verbose to every single question.

Add on to that the fact the UI has bugs, is very unintuitive, can't manage attachments, and still can't fill out portals means it's barely worth using above just manually answering questionnaires. I dread using it, but it's about 5% faster than writing out answers myself.

Super helpful for compliance

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes everything easier on our compliance process. We use it mostly to make sure are policies are applied correctly, and ensure all processes we have in the company align, are compliant and secure.
Removing a lot of manual work and having everything integrated in one place is a big win for our team.
Also whenever I've had to reach out to CS they're quick to respond and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some integrations don't allow much customizations, for example to have automated rules to keep certain assets or data out of scope. So sometimes this revision has to be manual.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It centralizes everything we need to follow up on controls and all the certification requirements, it saves us a lot of time removing the manual work and not having to go to several sources to look up for information.
It also helps us monitoring cloud infrastructure, asset creation, and vulnerabilities to be able to address them on a timely manner.
Also during the audit periods the evidence collection is very simple, as everything is tracked there, with the logs and all the information we might need. Its something we can trust as its integrated with many sources such as cloud vendors and security partners.

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Vanta for its impressive ease of use and usability, which makes the platform simple and intuitive. Even members of our team who log in infrequently can quickly understand what needs to be done. The platform's AI capabilities streamline our processes by providing automatic assistance and recommendations, such as reviewing contracts and identifying misalignments in SLAs, which is incredibly efficient. Vanta's seamless integration with our existing systems like AWS and Jira greatly enhances our workflow by automatically managing compliance requirements and facilitating ticket management. This integration is a time-saver as it simplifies evidence gathering and approval processes. Furthermore, the onboarding experience was smooth, thanks to a helpful team that supported us in transitioning data and setting up the necessary procedures. I also value how Vanta has transformed our vendor discovery and procurement processes, turning static spreadsheets into dynamic, manageable systems. The automation of questionnaire responses is another significant benefit, allowing us to efficiently handle inquiries from vendors and potential business partners. Having the capability to manage multiple certifications like ISO and GDPR in one place has significantly reduced complexity and enhanced our international operations. Ultimately, Vanta has made several business processes smoother and more efficient, which is pivotal in maintaining a high level of operational efficacy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the documentation does not fully explain the robustness of the system and its AI. While their support team is quite helpful, the initial documentation can be somewhat lacking, which means additional time is spent needing clarification from support rather than getting the information directly from the documentation. This could improve the efficiency and experience of deploying the applications using Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Vanta streamlines our certification processes, automates repetitive tasks, and enhances vendor risk management, saving time and improving data management with ease of use.
