Great platform to keep your company compliant
What do you like best about the product?
Easy on boarding and offboarding checklists
What do you dislike about the product?
There was a bug that once made it diffilcult to deactovate users but it's since been fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From the HR perspective, it makes it easy to see what platforms we need to off board past employees from.

It's super user-friendly. With us working on ISO compliance and SOC compliance for the first time - we would've been lost without Vanta

Some options are limited when it comes to users/accounts

Centralizing and making our compliance efforts for efficient. No more messy spreadsheets and missed action items
Vanta for SOC2
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to understand what needs to be done and when. A lot of integrations for all of the standard platforms, and does a lot of the legwork for you. The AI chat bot is also very good. Having never done anything like this before, I thought I would need more support but I didn't in the end as it was so well done. Great for keeping on top of everything.

Some tasks which could be fleshed out a bit more with examples

It made ISO27001 certification a lot, lot easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is quite expensive. The GDPR framework appeared not to be really worth the money. ISO27001 is, though.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is a true force multiplier - it allows us to do a lot with far less manpower. There are endless integrations so it is quite easy to monitor all of our services. As well, they do a really good job of onboarding the user and providing examples and templates to where it made our SOC 2 journey very easy. Any time we have had issues, the support has been very knowledgeable and prompt.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems that most new functionality is locked behind paywalls which can be frustrating for smaller companies like zu that don't necessarily have the budget.

Vanta allows us to easily stay compliant with SOC 2! It provides insight into our services, users, and assets, ensuring they are as secure as they can be.

It is easy to implement and makes it obvious where we are succeding and where we need to distribute resources

It is allowing my team to be more collaborative and have everyone know what is being worked on

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta makes it easy to see all requirements for our SOC2 audit all in one place. The checks and balances are clear and communication across a dispursed team is seamless. Our team appreciates the templates available and the examples along the way that make it easy to prepare all the evidence needed for a solid audit.

My complaint is about compliance in gerneral as a whole. Vanta has made it as easy as possible to follow the insane number of items that have to be completed.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Vanta for our SOC2 audit management. It allows for us to have one spot to manage every piece of the process and guides us without having to hire someone specically to project manage each piece and understand every little nuance of the process. We have a very small team who had never been through an audit before. Even though it was a lot of work and taxing, we couldn't have accomplished what we did without Vanta.
Super simple way to stay compliant
What do you like best about the product?
The thorough checklists of all the required actions that its users need to take to stay compliant, and consistent reminders to make sure they are executed. The basics of this product are built very solidly.
What do you dislike about the product?
My least favourite feature is how rules for Git code changes & development process, and deployments are tracked. It recommends very generic processes which doesn't always suit the real world requirements and they can't be customized too much. Those checks can only be turned off if they don't completely apply.

It is helping us track all the requirements for SOC 2 compliance monitoring period and beyond.

Vanta has a nice UX and is relatively easy to use. The customer service has been unmatched - especially when navigating our audit

We ran into several issues with the Questionnaire feature. It has improved dramatically over time, though.

Orginazing our team for our first SOC-2 audit and ensuring that we remain compliant.
