Easy to use and baked-in services that integrate well.

Vanta is simply the best Compliance automation platform on the market
What do you like best about the product?
The depth and breadth of the integrations surfaces more complaince/security telemetry than any other platform.
The AI based questionnaire automation is the most effective use of NLM/AI that I have seen to do . It works very, very well and once you've trained it on 3-5 quetionnaire's - it does 90% of the work for you.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is little dated and occassionally it's Javaescript style interface gets a bit "Cookie confused" requiring an "app data" wipe
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's surfacing compliance telemetry and managing our compliance with numerous standards - we get to see everything related to ISO@7001 in one place, and can easily see our status and what work we need to do to achieve/maintain compliance

What do you like best about the product?
Super Simple to use! And it has everything you need to create systems & processes to control your organization and keep it compliant in real-time. The integrations with the different tools is a game changer!
What do you dislike about the product?
It is pricey, but it is worth it when you want to get serious about compliance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping all of the controls in 1 single place and mapping them across the different systems you want to be compliant with.
Introduced innovation and automation to an otherwise very manual and labour-intensive process
What do you like best about the product?
How they translated complex regulation into a set of actionable tests that are easy to pass for most SaSS companies which based their infrastructure on the cloud. Engineers immediately resonate with their automation-based approach. Also, their notification system allows you to be much more proactively on top of things than having to manually review every single vulnerability and access request.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is still not feature-ready in my opinion. Even though they provide document builder the formatting tools are still not there. Sharing documents produced within Vanta doesn't transmit the professionalims and rigourous approach that a 27001 certified company is trying to transmit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resource intensive approach to compliance audits
Vanta is great, makes it easy to get SOC II compliant

The checklists are very helpful as are the educational videos

I don't actually end up logging into Vanta very often and yet I feel like I get a disproportionate number of emails from the platform (more emails than I should)

What do you like best about the product?
We used Vanta to help with SOC2 & other compliance processes. It makes things extremely straightforward and gives us plenty of steps to complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be tricky to know what evidence is required, most of this is covered by Vanta but some leave a little bit of guess work to figure out.

What do you like best about the product?
Continual guidance is needed to keep our security measures on track and compliant. We receive notifications daily, and we don't miss any critical issues. Customer Service is also excellent, and they respond in a timely manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price for a startup. It would be nice if they had a pricing program for startup companies. Another is we can only integrate with one HRIS system. I get it that there's only one source of truth. However, some companies do use 2 HRIS systems, depending on whether they have employees outside the US.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2, Type 2 is a continous process. Vanta is very beneficial for us to make sure nothing falls in to cracks. Vanta is making our security team feel at ease that we are on top of our security compliance. Another thing for compliance is training. Vanta provides compliance training that you might need and if you don't find it, they will help you use the tool for efficiency.
