Vanta is far and away the best tool for audit management
What do you like best about the product?
Where do I even start? The fact that I can seamlessly add evidence for MULTIPLE audits alone is invaluable to my organization. Additionally, it has hooks into nearly every piece of software that my organization uses and has helped us identify countless security flaws in our infrastructure, and application security. I cannot recommend Vanta enough.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. It's fantastic software written by fantastic people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to quickly identify and remediate places in our cloud infrastructure that are non-compliant with SOC2 and HIPAA audits. Additionally, we're able to quickly add evidence to prove we are meeting other requirements all within a single pane of glass experience.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how the policies, controls and vendor functions all map together so easily. The AI function is great and starting to use the trust centre seems super easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not fully configurable for views in trust centre.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has significantly streamlined our security compliance efforts. Its intuitive interface and clear guidance make it easy to navigate, even for non-technical team members. The platform's comprehensive feature set, from risk assessments to policy management, empowers us to maintain a strong security posture. Additionally, the responsive support team has been invaluable in addressing any questions or concerns. By seamlessly integrating with our existing tools, Vanta has become an essential part of our daily security operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Test customization USED to be a pain point but the Vanta team has rolled out some amazing upgrades. It's hard for me to say anything I truly dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta simplifies complex security compliance by automating manual tasks, streamlining framework adherence, and accelerating audits. This empowers security professionals to focus on strategic initiatives, reduce human error, and strengthen their organization's overall security posture.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Vanta is the usability and the understandable and up to date UI. Audit compliance is not something I deal with everyday, but when I do, I can login and find my way around fairly easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have heard from others who deal with compliance on our team more in depth that customization and configurability to our needs could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We require SOC II and PCI compliance for our software and industry.
Integrations are helpful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the integrations that simplify much of the compliance process. I also like that it enables my to track and upload items as needed throughout the year so the audit period is not so stressful as much of the work is done in advance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything yet that I particularly dislike.

Our business requires a SOC II compliance certificate. We complete this through Vanta.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard makes is so easy to navigate to-do's and completed tasks. I am able to set different tasks dependent on employment classification. It integrates easily into other software platforms. The off-boarding tool also helps me remember who is assigned to which platform. I also love the simplicity of navigation. The tabs are so user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the dashboard would allow for me to see sets of tasks like under people. I also wish that 'not a person' could be filtered out!

Seamless and connected across different compliance projects
What do you like best about the product?
We've done several compliance processes and it helps that Vanta has everything seamless and connected. The user experience and platform navigation are intuitive, everything is clear and templates are very helpful.

When we're building a compliance roadmap, Vanta is a trusted partner - the first thing we consider is if a compliance standard/certificate is supported by Vanta. The second thing is a consultation with a Vanta representative to build the timeline, and schedule, learn best practices, etc.
At this point, Vanta's integration is so helpful that it doesn't make sense to start a compliance project outside it. Why? Because we have added many controls, documents, and policies for various compliance reasons and when we start a new certification, we're automatically at 30-50% completion. Nothing compares to that.

I like how it works; it exceeds our expectations. The only issue we had was that some integrations occasionally disconnected, but customer service helped resolve this.

We're a startup and our clients expect certain standards. Vanta helps us meet them and to receive external validation of these standards via compliance audits and badges.
On top of that, in a startup, one person wears many hats, so any type of automatization helps tremendously. Vanta's connectivity across compliance certificates is a big win, both for Vanta, and for us - it boosts momentum, reduces manual workload, accelerates completion and it removes repetitiveness.

Vanta makes a great on/offboarding a experience
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how to get a quick overview of actions to take when on/offboarding team members. In my experience this can be a really time consuming process but Vanta provides a simple and traigthforward approach to keep things neat and tidy.
It's a big win for our team to track and stay on top of vulnerabilities, plan for work and make sure we keep our systems together with high security and quality at all times.

What do you dislike about the product?
if there's something I could wish for, is some more delight in the UI, to celebrate when things get done and are in a tidy state. Confetti and rewards is nice to feel proud of accomplishments. How about some gamification options?
