Essential for streamlining security
What do you like best about the product?
Makes it easy to categorize tasks to assign to different teams,its integrations with cloud platforms and ticketing systems and its AI tools providing "how to remediate" instructions for console and terraform are phenomenal. Makes security audit preparation a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking automation for creating tickets. Package vulnerability scan needs improvement, it scans metadata and creates false positives for disabled packages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automates many tasks and streamlines the workflow.

What I appreciate most about Vanta is its user-friendly interface and seamless integration capabilities. When considering what I dislike about Vanta, I would say that while the platform offers a lot of valuable features, it can sometimes feel overwhelming due to the sheer number of options available. This complexity can lead to a steep learning curve for new users, making it challenging to fully utilize the platform's capabilities right away. Additionally, there have been instances where the integration process with other tools was not as smooth as expected, causing delays in implementation. Lastly, while customer support is generally good, there have been times when response times were slower than anticipated, which can be frustrating when urgent issues arise. Overall, while Vanta has many strengths, these areas could use improvement to enhance the user experience.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has made a tremendous differnece in simplifying security compliance processes. The platform has provided us with automation that makes frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001 much more manageable for us and reducing a huge amount of manual work. We also have utilized its integrations with our cloud provider and which allowed us to streamline security monitoring and make audits easier.
I would like to give a shoutout to the customer support that has been responsive whenever we needed assistance.
Overall, Vanta has been a great solution for out team that has helped us improce security posture and manage compliance efficiently. I Would recommend the businesses if someone is looking for a structured approach to compliance.

What do you dislike about the product?
Ideailly we would prefer a more cusomtizable workflow at the moment it is somewhat limited. This would help us tailor the compliance a little better to our needs. However, as is it is its still a great a product and i can understand that vanta cant make products tailored specificaly for each individual company needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta helped streamline out security and the compliance processes by automatating the complex tasks from frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. The automation has reduces the time and effort needed to track security controls, making audits and ongoing compliance more manageable. We have integrated with our cloud services providing us with real-time monitoring and insights, allowing businesses to maintain a strong security posture with minimal manual effort.
It help us having controls and tests for our regular ISO27001 audit.

I like how the Frameworks for the ISO27001.
Having the ability to set controls and tests help us on our extensive tools' staks and help us avoiding any security and lifecycle issue.
When plugged to our JIRA board, it allow us to create tickets when action is required.
With one tool, we can have a view on the bigger picture. It's something we can easily loose some time to time.

What do you dislike about the product?
For now, the capability of creating a custom test is too limited from my point of view.
If I take the specific example of the IDP integration, I would like to be able to test more specific part of our IDP configurations.

Vanta is doing regular controls and test in order to be sure that we don't have any ghost account and alert us if it's the case.

Not all tests contain detailed guidance on how to pass them.

It makes a complex task easy to manage. The service is accesibly and you come a long way with needing external help.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's still a big cost just to manage complience. It's not a Vanta specific issue. But in the future it would be nice to be able to use Vanta at a lower price point.

I like how simple Vanta makes it to achieve compliance and keep your system compliant at all times. Thanks to automated tests and the many integrations, it's really smooth to set up the account and quickly improve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to be honest, there is a little bit of a learning curve at first, but the Vanta team provides demos and helps onboard employees
