Great tool but slow
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Vanta is how it automates much of the compliance process, especially for frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA. It continuously monitors systems, alerts you to issues in real time, and integrates with tools like AWS, GitHub, and Google Workspace, which saves a ton of manual work. It also makes working with auditors much smoother by centralizing evidence collection and documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Vanta is that some of the integrations can be a bit rigid or limited, especially when dealing with more complex or custom environments. There can also be a bit of a learning curve at first, particularly if your team is new to compliance workflows. And while automation is a big strength, it still requires some manual oversight to ensure everything stays aligned with real-world processes. Anoth downside is that the web application is slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is solving the problem of how time consuming and complex it can be to achieve and maintain security compliance. Before using it, gathering evidence for audits, tracking policies, and ensuring ongoing security controls were all manual and scattered. Vanta centralizes and automates those tasks, which saves a significant amount of time and reduces the risk of missing something important. It also helps us stay audit ready year round, rather than scrambling at the last minute.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrations with many SaaS business systems which allows us to assess security compliance in real time and gather evidence for auditors. The automation in Vanta saves our compliance team time and means that we can focus on more high-value tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be great if Vanta allowed you to configure automated workflows to perform remediation on the source system.

Vanta helps us to manage out ISO 27001 compliance and make sure we are meeting control and policy requirements

Some of the dislikes of Vanta:
* Need more Customer Support, as opposed to just always having to read an article

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta being the watchful eye in scanning for any issues and keeping compliance for our security
Helpful for Soc 2 compliance
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard that shows what needs to be completed. I also really like the template guides that are provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes a terminated employee would become active in Vanta without me realizing what I had done on the back end to cause that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Vanta has allowed us to gain our SOC 2 Type 1 certification. Without Vanta this certification would have taken much longer and cost us much more.
Compliance done AI way.
What do you like best about the product?
AI capabilities are very accurate and makes compliance work much easier. Automated detection of all integrated apps for all users is the best. Very user friendly as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The test portion of Vanta has few false positives hence not passing a particular test.

automated security reviews, all in one pane access list for all employees to name a few.

I like that Vanta automates the most tedious parts of compliance—like access reviews and evidence collection—so we can stay audit-ready with minimal effort. It’s a huge time-saver and keeps everything organized in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the customization options feel limited—for example, tweaking control logic or workflows can be restrictive. A bit more flexibility would make it even more powerful.

Vanta helps us automate access reviews, third-party risk management, and control mapping across frameworks, reducing manual effort and audit prep time significantly. It ensures continuous compliance while freeing up our team to focus on real security improvements.

Easy to set up, amazing Trust center. Compliance is a lot of easier.

The price is on a higher side, but aside from this Vanta is amazing.

Easy to use Trust center for clients.
Good product - pricing model seems a bit confusing at times.
