What do you like best about the product?
It's very user friendly and easy to navigate

That we had to hire a 3rd party to help with the initial walkthrough of the platform

SOC2 and HIPAA Compliance
The easiest and cleanest user friendly dashboard!
What do you like best about the product?
Simply, you do not need to be an expert in the field to get certified for specific license. In our case we are trying to get SocII type 2 audit and Vanta made our life so much easier with amazing support, easy steps and plenty of examples and explanations that are an easy guide for even a non technical person.
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires a lot of access to our infrastructure. Example even access to our Microsoft 36.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is bringing us much closer to be SOC II Type 2 Certified as well as HIPAA certified.

An powerful, but inexpensive solution providing a streamlined path to accreditation, e.g., SOC, ISO
What do you like best about the product?
The easy integration of third-party components provide a simple interface to monitor for compliance. The setup guides allowed us to get started in just a couple of hours with an impressive list of supported third party integrations. The remediation guides are generally quite specific and helpful toward addressing any findings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the remediation instructions simply point to the vendor documentation, which is far less helpful than the Vanta guides. Providing clear remediation steps and highlighting key decision points would be an improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast tracking our first SOC 2 Type 2 compliance exercise and simplifying renewing our compliance in the future.

We're more than happy to share our experience working with Vanta. They played a major role in helping us acheive our SOC2 certification! Vanta's solutions made it way easier for us to handle compliance across the board, turning a big task into something manageable.
Their tools are great at keeping our team on-side and in-line with what's needed for SOC2. Things like easy policy acceptance for employees as well as continuous compliance testing keeps us aware of our security posture. The many integrations Vanta provides to sync with things like Microsoft Endpoint Manager has really boosted our computer compliance game. They have a lot of other integrations as well like AWS, Bitbucket, and Office365 to name a few that we use. The amount of coverage we get from these tools have given us a smooth and efficient compliance setup all around.
I would recommend Vanta to any company looking to up their security or compliance game. Huge thanks to Vanta for their top-notch service and for helping us hit this big milestone!

It's also user-friendly, and customer support is excellent. Our team uses it every day, and it has many integrations.

The initial setup can be a bit complex. Some custom policies might require manual adjustments, but overall, it’s a solid tool.

Vanta automates compliance checks, especially with AWS, making security monitoring effortless. The built-in automated tests reduce manual work, ensuring we stay compliant with frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001. This saves time, improves accuracy, and keeps us audit-ready with minimal effort.
Vanta is Great for SOC2 Guidance
What do you like best about the product?
Vant'as UI is easy to navigate and extremely resourceful, especially for a start up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very small items, like when a user leaves a "note" would be nice for other users to be notified with some sort of identifier, like Notes(1).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a start up, so creating policies, vendor management and integrations.
What you didn't know you need to manage your security compliance
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta made a complicated task of managing and validating controls across multiple frameworks in an actionable set of tasks. Vanta's integrations really helps automate much of the checks and balances against compliance. It's a critical tool in our stack towards security compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've had some issues getting the the device monitoring to reflect what shows in our Microsoft MDM. Monitoring this has been a bit of a struggle and something we've been hoping to get clarity on resolving. While we were going through audits it was a bit clunky in the sense that there was numerous instances of active audits with our auditors. Our auditors mentioned that this happens often through Vanta. It was a bit cumbersome keeping track of the correct audit in Vanta with our auditors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefits we've seen through Vanta is the active monitoring through integrations and the ability to keep an active pulse on framework controls.
Vanta Makes Compliance Management Smooth & Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta is my go to plat form as a compilance consultant. I think its super effient and that helps to making compliance easy. I personally love how everything is mapped to the correct controls which helps you stay in alignment certain codes. All the test instructions are clear and user friendly so imlementing them is easy and if I have issues with a test or document Vanta AI helps me to find the answers.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that they could definatelly work on is how fast they reply to customers. I mean, they always get back to me, but sometimes its quick and other times it feels like forever. But, to be fair when the do get back they're alaways helpful and know their stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Questioniares are the worst,but Vanta has this new feature that lets you plug them in and get its AI help answering them. It even saves the answers for later, so you don't have to do double work if similar questions pop up.
