Not all tests contain detailed guidance on how to pass them.

Vanta made the SOC2 compliance and audit process so unbelievably easy
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta made the SOC2 process much more affordable and doable at an early stage company which significantly helped us attract customers senstive to data security much earlier
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a huge negative but the post audit process for generating the report lacked the transparency of process and timing that the rest of the platform provided along the way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The process, documentation and speed to obtain our SOC2 Type II compliance is what we used it to solve for.
Vanta far outstrips its competitors
What do you like best about the product?
Working as an MSP that uses multiple compliance management solutions for various clients, Vanta beats out its competitors in every functional categroy (integrations to it's UI, ease of use). Customer Support is always quick to respond and we often see the features we request get implemented within a few months of requesting them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints when considering it against it's competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta makes informatoin easier to gather and visualize than a spreadsheet or other service does.

Vanta is an extraordinarily helpful tool to help our small business get and stay compliant as pertaining to data security frameworks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometimes difficult to toggle user accounts on and off to be monitored by Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is servicing the niche of businesses that need to get and stay compliant to SOC II and other frameworks that do not necessarily have the funds or resources for a full-time technologist and/or security officer.

The templates for policies, the ability to quickly create new custom policies and adding evidence to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Vanta agent limitations for people on Linux

Vanta demystifies what it takes to achieve best security practices in the modern era.

It showed us how much we were missing in our security.

We are using Vanta to improve our security and achieve SOC II compliance to prove our security.
Vanta has been a great solution
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has been a phenomenal tool for our organization. This has caused us to go through a cumbersome process with ease. Also it's been easy enough to where a novice is able to digest a lot of complicated steps in an easy to follow process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any big issues. I think the one part for improvement would just be the sales process being smoother from a hand off to our implementation process.

They are helping solve the process of going through the SOC process and making it some that can be followed step by step.
Great Tool for NIST Certification Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciated receiving reminder emails to follow up on tasks assigned to me for our NIST Certification. Vanta includes example templates or suggestions on possible evidence, which helps facilitate gathering these items to submit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't used Vanta for very long, so I don't have any things to dislike as of the time of this writing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is helping our company complete the necessary tasks to be aligned with NIST/HI TRUST Certification.
Makes SOC 2 Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Compliance is easy and the templates and guidance are helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's another nontrivial operational cost for a young, broke startup. I had login issues when we changed our company name / email domain.
