Vanta, better than Fanta
What do you like best about the product?
Faster time to audit that I could do in my own time, with excellent support
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited auditors in Australia but I understand that is being rectified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting us to ISO27001 status.
Efficient SOC2 compliance with Vanta
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta has enable us to automate the majority of our SOC2 compliance. As a start-up, we did not have extra resources to commit and didn't have a compliance foundation established. We started with an emphasis on security, but Vanta has enabled us to document, test and monitor our security posture without incurring excessive expenses. And the Vanta platform has allowed everyone to contribute to the effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything about Vanta has worked great for us, and whenever we had a question, someone at Vanta quickly provided assistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2, Type II certification

What do you like best about the product?
Working with vanta has been excellent. From the beginning of the process we have had twice monthly meetings to discuss progress and next steps, with the ability to skip or add meetings as needed
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the automated tests are a bit stricter than I may prefer, but that's also something that could be required by the auditors for SOC 2.

Vanta helps us automate compliance checks and keep up to date as we on-board employees
Vanta has made SOC-2 super easy
What do you like best about the product?
Automated controls for everything have been a lifesaver. I only need to worry about it when the Vanta bot tells me something needs to be updated. Saves so much time and makes the audit a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI used to be simple but it's getting a little bit clunky and hard to navigate now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta makes going through SOC-2 audit really easy. The auditors can get direct access to your Vanta instance so it keeps everything in one place nicely.
Vanta proactively simplifies compliance for our lean team
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta automates the plethora of tasks and documentation required for compliance, and in our case our customers required SOCII evidence which Vanta allowed us to achieve. The alerts were extremely helpful in order to stay in compliance, our audit was thus simplified and accurate as compared to us doing everything manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any issues or dislikes as of yet
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have data security requirements, and using Vanta helps us identify any gaps in compliance, and our risks are prevented or mitigated for SOC2 compliance. We are prepared for our annual audit as a result of using Vanta, whereas we would be scrambling in the dark without Vanta. We often receive customer requests for evidence of compliance during our RFPs. By having compliance and monitoring managed by Vanta, we are able to meet those demands in a timely and accurate manner. It speeds up the process for sure. Compliance monitoring and upkeep through Vanta is easy to stay on top of. Their customer support team is also very responsive, and when we need clarification or troubleshooting, the customer support reps have been knowledgeable.

What do you like best about the product?
Every aspect of Vanta was helpful and easy to use. From the dashboard summarizing our compliance progress to the "how to fix" suggestions on failing monitors, Vanta's entire software solution is a start-up's dream come true. We got our compliance quickly and efficiently, which made our clients overjoyed. Vanta helped our company launch faster and more securely!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of a single thing I dislike about Vanta. The entire process was easy and seamless!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta solved our problem of needing to be SOC2 compliant before our launch. They streamlined the process so we could pass the audit in record time.
Vanta saves eng time and reduces sales cycles
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta made it super easy and fast to get our SOC2 report. It's saved us an enormous amount of valuable engineering hours. It has definitely shortened our sales cycle as well, and given us credibly with larger enterprise prospects/clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really - they have been cranking out great product on their roadmap.

We need SOC2 to sell to larger clients, and Vanta gets us there fast

It has its share of bugs in the UI and finer-grained control of exceptions would be appreciated

Good product with easy onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
I compared several tools prior to purchasing Vanta.
I really believe the UX is much simpler to use then the competitors. The way it's structured and organized just makes sense to me.
Furthermore I like ease of use and integration into our eco system.
The onboarding team has also been very proactive and helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this time. The product works just as advertised. No surprises
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to get ISO, SOC and GDPR compliant in a structured and quick fashion without paying for expensive consultants.
Excellent end-to-end solution, but work needs to be done
What do you like best about the product?
The upside of Vanta is that it's relatively easy to use, which makes compliance much more organized than we had before using Vanta. It gives us a bird's eye view of all tasks that require attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things can be confusing, it's hard to determine which tab to click in the portal, and it's sometimes challenging to delegate specific tasks to people and even designate someone as a person or a non-person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is the go-to solution for compliance. It's helping us to a) follow the rules of the road in regard to legal questions, but also b) to build trust between us and our clients.
