SOC2 Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The prompts are easy to follow - and while compliance is always time consuming, Vanta has an easy path to follow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like most programs, there are no options to outsource the leg work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SOC2 Compliance - allowing us to lock down our security and take on larger customers!

What do you like best about the product?
The guided workflow and pre-built policies and assets helped us setup and document our SOC2 program in 4 weeks. During the sales process they outlined exactly what we should expect and how we could achieve this timeline and the company and the solution delivered for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have integrations to our ADP HR system yet so that is the only gap we have found so far. I also think the email notification workflow could be more robust but neither of these have caused us issues or delays.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Vanta to achieve and maintain SOC2 Compliance. It provided the setup, policies and ongoing compliance monitoring for SOC 2 for our company. It was a well managed process for us.
The perfect way to manage your Security Frameworks
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta allows you to easily manage your security frameworks from Initial setup all the way to compliance. It drastically shortened the amount of time we spent on getting ISO and SOC 2 compliant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI could be improved but nothing major.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting and maintaining compliance with all the relevant Security frameworks. Vanta is taking care of that entirely.

Since I started to use Vanta I got very impressed with how it simplifies the process of compliance for SOC2. Vanta is a tool that automates the collection and monitoring of evidence for various security controls, such as encryption, access management, backups, logging, and more. It also provides guidance and best practices for improving the security posture of the organization. Vanta helps me save time and resources that would otherwise be spent on manual tasks and audits. It also gives me peace of mind that I am meeting the standards and expectations of my customers and regulators. Vanta is very easy to use and integrates with other tools and platforms that I already use. The dashboard is clear and intuitive, and the reports are comprehensive and detailed. The support team is responsive and helpful, and they always listen to feedback and suggestions. Vanta is also very affordable compared to other solutions in the market. It offers flexible pricing plans that suit different needs and budgets. I highly recommend Vanta to anyone who is looking for a reliable and efficient tool for compliance for SOC2.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything negative to say about Vanta but just to populate the field I will say that it didn't have an integration with one of the tools that I was using before, but it took a few months only to be rolled out on the panel.

Vanta is solving the problem of security compliance for companies. By automating the whole process from collecting and verifying evidence, to the Audit report.

What do you like best about the product?
Vanta checks the box for compliance and risk in a simple way to understand and gives you real-time of where you are failing your security and compliance policies and standards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like formal training and/or set-up support (hands-on working sessions to set up the system using best practices)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting the company compliant for our SOC2 type2 audit with supporting evidence and identifying where work is needed to stay complian.
Vanta helps make SOC 2 easy
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy user interface to work with. There's a ton of templates built in that help us get documentation ready for our Type 1 audit. And the CSM/auditors are knowledgable about both the process and platform to answer all questions we have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not all that much. There's a lot of requirements to SOC 2 which is a pain to deal with, but that's not on Vanta.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is getting us SOC 2 compliant - this allows us to have a higher level of data security for our customer data, which opens more doors for the company on potential customers.

Spot-on for our ISO 27001 compliance journey
What do you like best about the product?
It is not just the product in itself it is also about the support and guidance you get from the Vanta team! Their understanding how to address ISO 27001 and now SOC 2 has made us do this cheaper and faster than the traditional approach.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some quirks that affect ways of working and the ownership of assets that are in scope for the certifications. Some findings should be easier to assign to the actual owner of the asset that needs to be fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It continuously assesses our compliance like a "live" Information Security Management System (ISMS) and relieves us from the manual follow ups and documentation that used to fill endless spreadsheets without any situational awareness.

What do you like best about the product?
Their amazing staff has made it easy for us to onboard this solutions. We're now organizing all of our ISO requirements (27001 & 27701) in one centrilized location!
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not identified any real downsides of Vanta. The only thing we wish we could do was link our Vulnerability Scanning tool to the platform (Tenable IO, CS,& WAS).
