Easy to use, but expect some small bugs

Some small bugs or integrations that don't always work as intended. But the support service is fast and good.

Soc2 Compliance, making it easy to start and manage the process.

What do you like best about the product?
They make it easier to comply by providing user-friendly features and helpful assistance in resolving inquiries and giving more explanations.
What do you dislike about the product?
None I can't think of right now, but I think offering more affordable pricing for startups would be a huge help!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes our security compliance super smooth and easily accessible for our customers.
One of the best compliance vendor experiences I've had in the past 8 years
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitively organized and focused on limiting busy-work by providing templates and intergrating common business tools. Most vendors I've used have limited or very poor templates, and few intergrations if any.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are still updating the workflow of their website and increasing the standards they support so it can be hard to find some things after changes, and migrating documentation to a new process is not always automatic or clear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is guiding us through getting and maintaining SOC 2 compliance while helping us syncing our compliance documentation to other standards to reduce double work.
Smooth Auditing with Vanta, But Pricey AI Features
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the significant value and efficiency gains Vanta offers over traditional auditing processes. The constant development and improvements in usability are impressive, making Vanta a leader in its field. I find the integration with the Google stack and Notion very helpful as it minimizes manual work. The ease of use and seamless collaboration with auditors are key reasons I would choose Vanta again in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like having to pay extra for AI features in Vanta. It feels frustrating that these features are not included in the main offering and require an additional cost. It's something I would prefer to see bundled with the standard package rather than being a separate charge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product facilitates ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification smoothly, enhances audit preparation efficiency, reduces manual tasks by integrating with tools like Google and Notion, and offers ease of use and auditor collaboration.
Best tool manage security of the data
What do you like best about the product?
We used it for a small POC to manage compliance for one of our clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its better if you have provided a trial account.

It is giving us security compliance to make sure our clients data will be secured.
Simplify the Evidence Collection, Kill Many Birds with One Stone
What do you like best about the product?
I like the common controls library and the cross mapping to various frameworks. The really helps out companies that have regs in various jursidictions or operate under several frameworks. You can really be audit ready all the time if your evidence owners are on top of their uploads.
Additionally, there are varios modules such as risk management and policy approvals that you can you in other areas of your enterprise.

What do you dislike about the product?
The access review module is okay but it's limited when compared to point solutions. The inability to perform a managerial review of user accounts feels like it's just checking the box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The constant manual nagging of evidence owners during a small audit window. With Vanta, I'm able to assign Tests and let the system do the nagging in bulk. I only need to step in if we are down to the wire.
Vanta gave us clarity
What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful for our situation is that Vanta gave us instant clarity into where we stand for compliance, security posture management. We are a small cloud-native startup and Vanta was quick to get us up and running.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have yet to experience the linking with Auditors but we really did our due diligence and many partners and CISO peers were very positive about Vanta's Audit network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a cloud-native platform that uses many SaaS providers. Vanta solved our visibility gap and allowed us to quickly see security provides for other non-critical SaaS tools we have.
Definitely helping us keep track of our auditing processes
What do you like best about the product?
The automated tests and reminders on what documents are needed for evidence help a ton and integrations with things like M365, Endpoint Manager, Knowbe4 help keep those items in sync as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took a while to understand the relationships between the various components and the setup was much longer than the sales person told us it would be (not a surprise). Also the ServiceNow task tracker integration is taking much longer than anticipated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved from spreadsheets and manual monthly reminders to automating and monitoring evidence collection on a daily basis. We now know when our controls or evidence are needing attention right away so we can address these items in small bites which is much less onerous than realizing after the fact or during the audit window that we have a bunch of items that need attention.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Vanta as it has all the necessary automated tools to check cybersecurity compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
SME-based solution offering is missing at this moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining Cybersecurity Compliance manually is a complex process, But Vanta made it very easy for the customers and no more complexity regarding the compliant company.
Faster and better than I expected
What do you like best about the product?
Vanta had great service, and helped to quell our concerns around Soc 2 and timing. Their customer service team was super responsive, and any time the platform wasn't clear on something, getting clarification was a matter of minutes. Our customer success representative, Jarrod, was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the platform mostly very usable, but there were a few controls and monitors that could have been clearer. There was also some confusion about billing, but again, everyone on the team was helpful in getting these things cleared up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to get our SOC audit done, and were dreading it - Vanta made things much easier than we expected. There are a lot of checkboxes to check and items to get done - everything was broken down point by point and made as easy as possible.
