An excellent compliance automation and a clean interface
What do you like best about the product?
What I really love about Vanta is how it combines so many powerful features into one easy-to-use tool. You've got continuous monitoring working in the background, which is a huge relief—it means we're always ready for an audit. Plus, it supports multiple frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001, so we can handle everything from a single spot. It's all presented in a super clean and intuitive interface that makes a stressful process feel simple. And it really helps that it can be integrated with a great number of platforms and systems
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that some minor aspects of the platform's user experience can be challenging(this is a very particular thing). For example, the filters sometimes don't work as expected, either showing more or less information than they should. The UI for complex filtering also isn't the most efficient. Furthermore, the Support team frequently changes recently released features, which means we have to constantly adapt to new workflows and learn how they want things to be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform has really cut down on our internal workload for vendor management and is now a key part of our alert system, letting us monitor multiple platforms from one central spot. This has saved us a ton of time and ensures we're always ready for audits with way less effort.

What do you like best about the product?
The automation aspect of vanta is outstanding. Very user friendly interface and helpful guides to completing controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Even with the helpful guides for starting out, it can be a slight learning curve. Missing a handful of ‘nice to have’ features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating all audit evidence into one place, mostly automated, is a massive time saver.

I like that Vanta watches over all the rules and tells me if something is wrong. It makes my job easier and faster.

It has a lot of steps to learn at the start, and that made me a little confused.

Vanta helps me catch risks before they become big problems. It keeps our systems safe and helps my team sleep better at night.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Vanta for compliance task management, and it's made the whole process so much easier and more organized. One of the biggest advantages for me has been the automated tests—these save a ton of time and help ensure nothing critical falls through the cracks. I also love how everything is tracked in one place. It’s very straightforward to keep an eye on upcoming requirements, ongoing tasks, and completed actions.
The wide range of integrations available has been a huge plus as well. Syncing with various tools we already use has streamlined a lot of our workflows and reduced manual effort. Overall, Vanta has made compliance a lot less stressful for our team, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to simplify and automate their compliance efforts.

What do you dislike about the product?
Felt some integration missing but we still managed to do those with some documents. As we understand the integration is a on going process and Vanta keep adding new ones.

I like the fact that it provides a very clear evaluation of the compliance level and next steps to follow.
It is very complete, you can track almost everything with it.
It provides a lot of convenient tools and integrations to train, retrieve reviews and approvals from all employee.

What do you dislike about the product?
The linking between the different artifact is not straight-forward and requires multiple clicks and full page refresh
The filtering on list views is very slow and inconsistant between refreshes/reopening from a link.
Some information is only available in side modal, so difficult to share with a link. Any artifact should be openable as a separate page (Eg: SOC2 point of focuses and criteria descriptions)
The access rights roles are a bit arbitrary and cannot be edited. Sometimes, we have to provide too much access to individuals.

It centralize and makes transparent everything about the features used.
It's easy to share what actions are expected of collaborators and to understand when and where gaps might appear.
Reporting to auditors is also much easier than creating your own control/risk/etc framework

Experience with Vanta has been great and helped a lot with fast forwarding our compliance certifications. Integration and customer support has been great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Somethings that bugged me was site refreshing and not caching my scroll state when I click on some test and return back.

The policy manager works well and does a good job of managing controlled documents, acknowledgements and review. The links between controls, documents and automated tests is logical and intuitive.

Risk manager doesn't support asymmetric risk management scales. There's no option to integrate with third party compliance tools to automate tests (unless they comes OoTB).
Permissions management is very weak, although I believe that's a problem they're actively working on.

Vanta keeps track of our security obligations and maintains the mapping between control requirements and evidence. It automates evidence collection in numerous ways and keeps track of when a refresh is due for stuff that needs to be collected manually.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Vanta is its powerful ability to transform a difficult and complex process, like achieving SOC 2 compliance, into a clear, manageable, and largely automated workflow. The platform's excellent number of features and ease of integration into our core tech stack—from Kubernetes, User Laptops, and GitHub to our HR and device management systems—replace the soul-crushing manual work of evidence collection with continuous monitoring. This provides a single source of truth and a structured roadmap that demystifies security requirements, effectively turning a potential months-long headache into a guided sprint. The interface is also very easy to use and navigate, which helps us enforce compliance daily within our organization. Additionally, the customer support is quite helpful, and it was pretty straightforward to set up and start working with Vanta. It's this automation-powered clarity that truly sets Vanta apart and delivers the most value. We use it daily for enforcing compliance in our organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most is the platform's inherent rigidity when dealing with anything outside its well-defined, automated paths. Vanta is highly prescriptive and works best with a modern, standardised tech stack. If your company uses legacy systems, homegrown tools, or services without a native integration, the experience becomes significantly more clunky. You are forced to fall back on manual evidence uploads and frequently have to explain away "false positive" failures from automated checks that don't understand your unique setup. This creates a noticeable friction point where the seamless automation breaks down, introducing a layer of administrative noise and manual work that detracts from the otherwise elegant experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vanta is primarily solving the immense challenge of achieving and maintaining security compliance, specifically SOC 2. Before Vanta, this meant a daunting, manual process involving endless spreadsheets, chasing down evidence, writing policies from scratch, and coordinating constantly with auditors. It was a massive drain on our engineering and operations teams.

The Vanta agent needs an update.

Straightforward process, makes compliance management much easier
What do you like best about the product?
The easy process, with lots of connections to our systems to collect evidences, and well as the supplier management tool that helps saving a lot of time.

The pricing is higher than competitors' one.

Management of security frameworks and certifications. Vanta makes it possible to make this process much more efficient.
