Great starting point for LLM learning and mastering AI
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and a very wide selection of user built models to start playing with and learning. Feels like github but with AI. Easy for a beginner like me to find what im looking for. Quick and easy signup and you can get started right away without any annoying demo call or sales pitch first.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a little difficult to differentiate between all the various versions of models. Unless you really know the background it can be a bit confusing for a beginner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's able to take a large chunk of our data, both text and images, and with various models help to categorize and label everything quickly. It has helped me cut down a ton of time and let me work on other more important projects while the models do the boring work for me. It also allows me to explore different models and use cases to further expand my skills in the AI space
The One Stop AI Toolbox
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that we can use any model that we want, as well as finetune the models. They are a helpful and innovative team and are active in discord. Clarifai also conducts hackathons proving that many great applications could be built using that.
It is very easily integrated into any system and their apis can be called upon many times without any issue

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing so far, it would be great if the documentation was a bit more detailed. ;)

Clarifai serves as a game-changer for me in developing multiple Language Model-powered applications for our startup. Its most significant benefit lies in the seamless access to diverse models without the hassle of hosting. This frees me from managing infrastructure, allowing a focus solely on crafting and implementing various Language Models (LLMs) into our applications. The platform's ease of use accelerates our ability to bring innovative AI-powered solutions to life swiftly.
We are using Clarifai to call the LLMs for our web application. It provides a seamless and uninterrupted API calls. This is used for various models such as LLAMA2, Cohere, etc.
We are using cohere for sentiment analysis and LLama2 as a chat model

A Mixed Experience with Clarifai: Solid Models, but API Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I first encountered Clarifai during a hackathon, where I explored their image-to-text generation models. The models themselves proved to be quite impressive, delivering reliable performance during my usage and.The company offers robust products, and what sets them apart is their excellent tutorial support. The tutorials provided valuable guidance, enhancing my understanding of Clarifai's capabilities and enabling smoother integration into my projects and an easy to implement procedure.
What do you dislike about the product?
However, my experience took a turn when I ventured into using the API.
Perhaps it's due to being on the free tier, but I encountered persistent issues with the API's responsiveness. More often than not, the API failed to provide a timely response, forcing me to retry my requests multiple times. It wasn't until after 5-6 attempts that the API finally started delivering the desired responses.
Setting aside the API hiccups, my overall impression of Clarifai remains positive

I was creating an appliaction for a hackathon that generates captions for an image, and I used Clarifai to generate text description of that image.
Clariafi - my first choice platform to build AI apps!
What do you like best about the product?
Clarifai has impressive deep learning models for image and video recognition, handling tasks like object detection, scene understanding, and visual search with high accuracy. Clarifai's pre-trained models and custom training options empower developers to tailor solutions to specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like to have music generation and spectral analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ClarifAI bridges the gap between image and text understanding, allowing me to create richer, more interactive experiences that leverage both visual and language intelligence. It provides pre-trained models that save me hours of coding, enabling me to quickly implement object detection features for various use cases. It handles large-scale projects with ease, ensuring reliable performance even when dealing with complex image and video datasets. It empowers me to fine-tune models for specific needs, tailoring AI solutions to unique challenges and adding unmatched value to my projects. Its intuitive APIs and user-friendly platform make it accessible even without extensive AI expertise, allowing me to focus on innovation rather than technical complexities.
Good platform for combining different models
What do you like best about the product?
The various models available on a single platform is great. Be it nlp models or vision models.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pipeline building using output of one model to input of others is not very intuitive as a first time user. Took me a number of attempts getting that right.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a unified api to different state of the art models in nlp as well as vision with a single account and credentials.
The best Gen AI platform
What do you like best about the product?
It has many great features. I got introduced to it during their LLama2 hackathon and loved its potential. One can choose any of the ml models out there from their library for multiple data modalities be it for image, audio, or text. Or custom train and intuitively fine-tune the models. Workflows can easily be created by stacking multiple models using their workflow editor. Once you are all done this can be exposed as a REST API and called from your application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Templates are missing in their platform. I was waiting for a long time for them to introduce templates for some of the standard industry applications so one can directly use them. I guess they are in beta and they will be rolling out soon. Pricing is a bit on the higher side but I guess it's totally worth a short for any applications having an ML backend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting backed of an ML application ready in seconds with minimal effort of hosting the models and inferencing manually. Its really a tough task to host these gen AI & LLM models due to their compute and memory hungry nature.
My Review of Clarifai
What do you like best about the product?
Different models to consume in one place and UI modules
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow UI reloads, constant login pop-ups and delayed updation of input counts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of different models to leverage for content creation
Use any LLM easily with Clarifai
What do you like best about the product?
I don't have a powerful computer to run these LLMs locally nor the resources to deploy in any cloud resources. Clarifai helped me with this by providing all the LLMs to use and deploy them. I also won a hackathon using Clarifai's wizardLM-70B, which otherwise requires heavy computation power. I have used Clarifai with langchain and it's very easy to use and integrate into any of my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue I have encountered is the issue of "model is deploying or scaling up". This sometimes takes a lot of time to get resolved or I need to change the model for my use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem with current LLMs is that they require very high computation power even to test them out. With clarifai one can use any of these models irrespective of their computation power and experience the power these models can bring.
The design of its interface makes it a fairly simple and easy-to-use tool
What do you like best about the product?
The design of its interface makes it a fairly simple and easy-to-use tool at all times, the fact that it allows me to identify images in a much easier way is something of great help, not to mention the fact that the precision with The one that interprets the images is impressive, which allows me to make a much more precise recognition of the images that are implemented in my applications, the simplicity of its configuration is also quite practical when the application is being installed for the first time, since that way I don't waste so much time in complex configurations to be able to use this tool without so much problem, the fact that it is a multilanguage application seems to me simply perfect since that way we can use it in our native language without so many inconveniences, another quite practical option is the fact that a large amount of knowledge is not required in the programming area to be able to do us or from this application, everything works quite well, so I really recommend this application with your eyes closed.
What do you dislike about the product?
What disappoints me the most about this application is the fact that it only works with images, I think they should update to allow me to identify objects through my phone's camera and even the design of an application does not hurt. desk to be able to use it in a much more comfortable way
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed me to identify images in a much simpler and easier way, which has been of great help to me when I need to process and identify images for our work in a much more practical and efficient way, but above all agile and simple. , so I can implement this tool in a much simpler and easier way to my developments.
I use it to find out if a picture contains a cat.
What do you like best about the product?
It works fine and reliably; API's are made available in a very structured and systematic way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing serious really; documentation is written by software developers for software developers. If you want to use it casually it is a bit of an uphill struggle at the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Clarifai to find out if a picture contains a cat (for recreational purpose to automatically make animated gifs). Find my project on github under marcconrad / myCCTV.
