Rapid deployment, love the schema mapper
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how fast I could move data, and how clever the schema mapper is. The mapper alone has made the whole thing worth it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if my gripe is with Hevo or SQL server. But I generally didn't enjoy its SQL server support. Not enough control over frequency of data pulls, and experienced some 100% CPU pinning. On comparable hardware, PostgreSQL doesn't even really notice it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allowed for rapid data warehousing.
Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Hevo helps start-up ecosystems to integrate different sources without using a lot of dev effort. We were able to pull all of our Facebook data into our warehouse, create ETL and process tons of data using a one-man team.

What do you dislike about the product?
Even though their UX is not saturated at all, it's hard to find the solution you're looking for if you don't have some tech background. I believe that the onboarding process could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pull data from different sources (Google, Facebook, Appsflyer), clean it, and send it to our data warehouse without any dev effort to write code and maintain it.
Efficient tool for DG and data extraction
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to select and implement tools for your requirements and tasks. It has excellent documentation ability for professional-looking document preparation. Includes several features and advanced functionalities for easy data management and easy workflow. Integration with so many data sources and platforms is more straightforward. Also helps you to merge multiple datasets from multiple websites or data sources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting it up for the first time on a new system is quite time-consuming, and configuration is complex and sometimes cumbersome. Before selecting a good tool for your tasks, it does not allow you to choose data for implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can import datasets from multiple data source platforms more quickly and efficiently. Investing and ingesting data to our workplace and lack for our use. Configuration of data and merging of datasets have become more intuitive.

It's easy to set up. The built-in connectors are seamless and work as expected right out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing too many pipelines is chaotic. A folder structure would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hevo helps us consolidate data from various platforms without coding a single line. We are definitely more productive.

The user interface can take a while to get used to.
Error messages are not always informative enough to suggest what to do next.
Unable to set jobs schedule based on time zones or specific times (e.g., 00:05, 00:25, etc.)
For data sources that do not have pre-built connectors and use REST API endpoints for data extraction, it requires a pipeline to be set up for each endpoint.
The number of events ingested/loaded and the number of events reported might not always tally.

Amazing Experience using Hevo Data
What do you like best about the product?
The product is amazing but I feel that doesn't make the company great but how you treat your customers is what makes you special and Hevo is really good at maintaining Relationship with their customers.
I have literally liked the customer relationship and product of hevo that I have personally recommended it to bunch of people in my network.

The pricing structure, as the old user We can work around making cost little bit more customized so it would be less costly for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Hevo to Create data pipelines and transferring everything to Bog Query

Brilliant product for real time data ingestion at a reasonable cost
What do you like best about the product?
The setup process is easy and intuative. We migrated from fivetran within 2 weeks after setting up the POC. It can integrate we dbt to orchestrate jobs, hevo also provides reverse ETL functionality which helped us consoladate our SAAS products for data streaming into 1. Their support team has been brilliant, they helped us throughout our migration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike so far, it has lived up to our expectations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we are more of an analytics engineering shop, we need to have our data from all our different sources readily available for our data analysts and data scientists. Hevodata allows us to ingest and load all the data into our warehouse with minimal configurations. The cost is quite reasonable compared to vendors out there and since we are small data team, this helps us focus on other areas rather than being stuck on deploying and maintaining data pipelines.

What do you like best about the product?
Hevo has integrations with a large number of programs and software which are used throughout industry. These integrations allow users to quickly set up pipelines of data from sources to storage banks quickly and easily. Most impressive is the automatic data identification which allows for immediate upload into appropriate data caches.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a pipeline has been established, it cannot be edited. If a change needs to be made, an entirely new pipeline must be created. Furthermore, the numbering of the pipelines includes deleted pipelines, which can be confusing for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We take business analytics data from software, including Quickbooks, and store the output of that data in Google cloud storage. Previously, our team had to manually download reports from Quickbooks and upload the data to our tools. Now, thanks to Hevo's integration, we can update the data in our tools automatically and much more frequently, allowing our business leaders to make more accurate decisions.
Great value product but getting more expensive
What do you like best about the product?
A very user-friendly product. Easy to make tweaks to ingestion and loading type, frequency, etc, for databases and data warehouses. Excellent customer support team who are highly responsive
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, their reverse ETL was part of the overall package, but in the future, they will be charging separately for that. Also, some product analytics tools like Fullstory aren't natively supported, and we need to look toward custom integrations
