Hevo helped us solve our ETL needs.
What do you like best about the product?
Before using Hevo, our data solution was a mess. Reporting was inaccurate and certain integrations were just not possible. After using Hevo, we have been able to incorporate and centralize our various tools, and have gotten to explore elements of our data we never would have been able to before.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was nothing that we have come across so far that we have disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Hevo, we did not have any data pipelines set up. We had data flowing between our various third-party tools, but none of it was organized through a centralized pipeline. Our sales data was being exported to our instance of Salesforce which was then exporting to our customer success platform which was also receiving data from our own Software. Data was being funneled in all sorts of ways, which caused a huge mess and multiple levels of inconsistency in our reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
Hevo is extremely quick to connect, and it has a simple plug-n-play approach that allows us to connect to many sources and start copying our data into our destinations within minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI is not optimized for mobile, scheduling workflows could be a little more granular or give more options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are running our ETL pipeline entirely on Hevo, saving on labour and time

1. Sometimes we encounter that pipeline is stopped because of some issue and it is hard to figure out the reason, and have to contact support for the same
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. We were able to move data in almost real-time from our MongoDB to redshift cluster for analytics purposes and it helped us in saving a lot of time.

Need to skip the unnecessary collections manually which will take more time.

Bringing all the MongoDB data to Amazon Redshift
Hevo is very easy to use and user-friendly. It has great functionality

The ability to customise the process. For example, to setup different pipeline modes and the python transformation one can apply

It does not seem to work well with initial uploads when there are more than 1 million records

Hevo allows us to sync data from different sources to a BigQuery so we can use it for centralised reporting

Support is fantastic. Functionality is very customisable. Super easy
User friendly, highly automated tool. No extra learning to get on-boarded.

Hevo can improve in their alerting feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our analytics data onboarding is powered by Hevo. Simplicity in using it and excellent support is something to shout for.
A fantastic data pipeline as a service
What do you like best about the product?
Amazing UI, Easy to use. Minimal coding. The replay queue is a fantastic feature. Building new pipelines are very easy and bootstrapping is optimized for.
What do you dislike about the product?
1-2 integrations were not present for tools we were using
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Built the entire data warehouse using Hevo. Hevo enabled data analytics and data science at Docon at a very quick pace. There has barely been an issue or any downtime that we have faced with Hevo. I would recommend Hevo to early-medium scale startups to enable data analytics efficiently.
Automating Data Pipelines has never been easier
What do you like best about the product?
It has suited all our needs.
- The most critical part was reading Oplog from production MongoDB replica.
- Cleaning PII and sensitive data on the fly before loading to DWH
- Wide range of sources and even Webhooks (any arbitrary source)

What do you dislike about the product?
There is always room for further development.
As an advanced user with tempted view I can point to certain things to work on:
- import any arbitrary library and code to perform transformations on-the-fly (now only Python 2 available)
- perform historical load with filters (what if I need to replicate only 100 rows out of 100M)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First of all, we need to read replica log from source database to minimize load on production databases. Be it MongoDB's Oplog or PostgreSQL WAL.
Secondly, we want to get rid of any PII data as well as perform specific calculations on the fly. That's where Hevo's transformations come handy.
Lastly, we want reliable, clear and consice panel, service, and support which we get fully from Hevo team.

- pricing per events - too linear - would love to get more events for rows that change very frequently

Bootstrapping very quickly our Datalake - integrating all our databases with very little effort and respecting GDPR compliance
