I like Hevo
What do you like best about the product?
I have liked the way of designing the source and destinations to process the data in various levels. I have used Kafka Connector
What do you dislike about the product?
I liked Everything.. The Kafka Connector and db connector is wonderful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly No need to use any third party to connect source and destination
HevoData Review
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, very simple tooling, nice features (transformation, reverse data, ...). What I liked the most is the auto-mapping feature which makes really easy to move data from A to B. I also like the clear overview of your data consumption.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like the transformation part, but it could be maybe a bit more "open". Meaning it will be nice to connect/plug to our own company repository; I currently only avoid using it cause of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My problem was to move my data from different data sources (mongo, elastic search, ...) to our data warehouse. Hevo is a great tool for that and the pricing is really good in comparison to other ETL pipeline tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good pricing, an easy tool, real good support

What do you dislike about the product?
- Pipeline scheduling still needs some work to have more control of the execution times for all the pipelines
- Cloning existing pipelines is still not possible, requiring to recreate everything from zero

We have migrated all our existing pipelines to Hevo with great results, and it is now our official ELT tool. It saves us a lot of time compared to working with other solutions, offloading a lot of the engineering overhead required for hosting our own ELT tool. We have received a fantastic level of support in setting up pipelines for complex sources and solving general questions. We have also seen direct enhancements of the Hevo tool as a result of our requests, for example adding new functionalities to REST API for our specific needs and fixing API calls to external websites we are using. We have also saved considerably in operational costs compared to our previous solution. We are very pleased with Hevo, and even though we recognize there are a few areas that still need some work, we are confident that they will tackle them very soon as the tool is constantly improving. They have shown to take their community feedback very seriously.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hevo's pricing model is based on the number of rows ingested and provides different tiers with prepurchased packages of rows to be consumed per month, which works really well for our needs. Still, it will depend on each company's monthly data volume to evaluate if this model will be more cost-effective for them or not.
If you have a specific need or a particular source not in their current offering, get in touch with them anyway. They might add or fast-track your requirement if it is technically possible for them to do so in order to get you as a client. They did it for us.

Hevo is the way to go for building a reliable Data Pipeline infrastructure
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about is the way it allows us to handle source data by completely abstracting the underlying architecture (semi structured or relational). Additionally, if you envision L1, L2, L3 models for example to obtain the main objectives out of DIKW hierarchy, the data models option in Hevo is the way to go. You can actually, create, workflows, to ensure that there is no ambiguity in the end-end data delivery process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much really, the workbench has code formatting option now but lacks the ability in allowing the end user to save the code. What this means that is, even if you click by mistake on the back button, you might loose all the progress done. So, one needs to stay careful while using on the workbench. But, this isn't that great as an issue, since we can anyways use IDEs for code development and then may be use Hevo for the main objectives we have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is slightlyan overhead to manage and setup BI in the organisation if the data is heavily nested (really complex nested data with json structure and arrays within the same and the nesting continues). So, aggregations weren't sufficient solution for us to solve the problem.
Hevo really, helps us is to maintain near realtime data on the warehouse and process the nested data the way we want to without any ambiguity. To cut short, we can realise a perfect data pipeline to solve the business problem.

Lots of integrations and a great free plan to get started!
What do you like best about the product?
As compared to Stitch and Fivetran which are the main competitors you might think about regarding ETL tools, Hevo offers a generous free plan which is amazing, especially given the fact that they offer the same main integrations as these competitors. Also as an analyst, I like the fact that their tables are not nested which is easier to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see an integration with Branch. You might dislike the tool if you see it does not offer the integration you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly use FB, Instagram, and Appsflyer integrations.
Very customerfriendly and easy to use ETL tool
What do you like best about the product?
ETL Jobs with very easy Onboarding. Furthermore hevo has a very good and friendly support and really cares about issues the users experience with other tools inside the ETL job procedure. Very easy setup and no need for optimizing for new api versions etc. - it just works!
What do you dislike about the product?
For now actually there is nothing i don't like.. sounds strange but it's the truth :P Maybe it can be a bit tricky if you don't know your data warehouse good enough, but that's really not a problem of hevo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ETL jobs from constantly changing API's for example from hubspot is easy to setup. It just loads and transforms all the necessary events from easily configurable tables. No code required but it is possible to use code based transformation inside the ETL.
Intuitive, simple, with great technical support
What do you like best about the product?
The platform allows building a pipeline to ingest, transform (being able to build transformations with Python makes life so much easier), and store the data effectively (and re-ingest to visualization tools for building dashboards); it is an excellent solution for mid-size data volume.
One of the best aspects is the support: Every time I wanted to talk with the support team, I was attended on time, the team took time for investigation if necessary, solved my problems/doubts, gave me clear directions on how to solve them.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced any major issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are connecting external and some static data sources to our visualization tool to display business insights fast and in a cost-effective way.
Pull your data in the most easiest way ever
What do you like best about the product?
So user-friendly. Plenty of videos and documents for support, and also they have great online support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could change the history period without building another pipeline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have 20 companies using stripe, and I need to pull it all and insert it into AWS Redshift.
I also had to pull data from hubspot, zendesk and Mysql.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to quickly get your data out and imported into a data warehouse without paying a consultant to write loads of APIs. Then this is for you.
I liked the product a lot and it a useful platform if you want to automate reports.
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the real-time data gathering feature and the real-time data transformation feature. It is also done on an incremental basis; hence less load on the DB, less cost. The real-time data transformation feature has helped me make all the dashboards real-time with a lag of just 5 mins.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think everything is in here, you might face some issues while setting up, but the support team is there to help you out, hence all in all I think it is a good product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Moving data from different platforms to BigQuery
2. Making real-time transformations.
3. Very cheap as compared to other products.
4. It has automated the dashboards; hence we now spend time analyzing rather than doing manual work to prepare the dashboard reports.
5. Updates the data with a lag of just 5 minutes hence it is good.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
They provide a trial period, and they will even help you in setup; you can go ahead and use it for a week and so, and I think, if anyone has any use in terms of reporting automation or moving data from one of the platforms to other or doing some realtime transformation then you can go ahead and use this platform.
easy-to-use data pipeline with timely support
What do you like best about the product?
low-code to no-code data pipelines which simplifies my processes, which is loading data to bigQuery
What do you dislike about the product?
data ingestion is still buggy sometimes and support had to be contacted
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i'm trying to build a data warehouse with bigQuery and Hevo is helping me aggregating data from many sources such as mySQL, Amplitude, GA. I can see the data models more easily with Hevo Workflow
Recommendations to others considering the product:
try to utilize Hevo Data Workflow because it'll help you understand your data models better
