Easy to manage
What do you like best about the product?
Their user interface is easy to use and manipulate. The connections to Redshift are seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Getting the correct files to upload can be clunky. Also, i wish there were more source connectors. Looking for ADP and others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving how to get a lot of data that is uploaded daily into a spot where I just have to monitor, not run everyday.
No Code ETL
What do you like best about the product?
Hevo data is one of the best no-code ETLs out there. Their customer service is excellent, and the platform is easy to use, Easy to use platform and Customer service. The models are convenient too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a glitch in loading the data into the warehouse, there is a difference between the loaded events in the pipeline vs loaded events in the destination
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is no code etl hence you need not to worry about different sources and pipelines integrations

What do you like best about the product?
Hevo Data reduces the time required to build and orchestrate several types of Data Pipelines, thus reducing the manpower required.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hevo Data can build analytics solutions on top of ETL's so that data analysts and other tech folks can also leverage their platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hevo Data helps us minimize the time to build ETL pipelines, both to and from the Data warehouse. On top of that, it also handles schema evolution with great ease.

What do you like best about the product?
Integrating third-party data sources with my database and less pricing
What do you dislike about the product?
Everytime you make changes in source data ,a whole source data is uploaded again which increases the event count.Only updating the rows should make it better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hevo helps me ingest any data and help me write queries seamlessly by integrating the database with third-party data.This helps me analyse data by writing single query rather than merging multiple data sources .
Great ELT Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how simple it is to connect data sources like Google Merchant Center or Google Ads to Google Big Query.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me pricing per events is a bit difficult to calculate

Connecting Data from MCC Accounts to merge Google Ads & Merchant Center Data for great reports and even Alertings

What do you like best about the product?
Hevo is a fairly cheap product that comes with a lot of tech support from their team. Hevo's team responds promptly and has a ton of quick support options. They are constantly trying to develop and improve their product.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is a ton of bugs and features still in development. I was consistently on tech support for random glitches that slowed my work down tremendously. It was very easy to erase tons of work without any version control to get that work back. Their APIs are so convoluted to use, that it makes replication better to do manually. Additionally, the transformations functioned weird where If I tried to delete a column, it would remove the data but not the column.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ETL Data Ingestion with manual mapping. This supports our operations for moving data to a better warehouse to make use of it.

The schema or data objects when setting up the pipeline is not visible enough

Pipelines are great to help me create a single source of truth in one database
Very good experience with hevo
What do you like best about the product?
It works! It is straightforward to use and the support team is efficient and friendly. We needed a minor feature to be implemented, and they happily accommodated it.
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of connectors would have been beneficial for us. If hevo would interface with Teradata that would solve so many issues. Another source that would help us quite bit would be Braze
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hevo expedited the migration to the cloud. We implemented most of the data pipelines for the ingestion and normalisation of our datasets in Bigquery using Hevo, the API extension that the support team wrote for us allowed the integration with other processes running in composer
Saved me several hours of work
What do you like best about the product?
Their HubSpot to Redshift integration helps us gather all data in a single place and the pre-load transformation of the data before pushing the data to Redshift.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Hevo breaks while passing the data from one point to another endpoint which result in delayed reporting but customer support helps here to make sure this doesn't happen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hevo helps us in passing the data from one or multiple databases to a warehouse without any knowledge of code, scripts, or anything. This help us save a lot of our engineering bandwidth which were initially there to resolve the code.
Hevo is great for small teams trying to scale quickly
What do you like best about the product?
I love the number of connections that we can build and how quick it is to ingest the data and manipulate it to be whatever we need the result to look like
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are skill levels on how to work in Hevo, and the entry-level is super low, which makes it an easy product for anyone to use but then can become quickly complex, having a user be able to scale in Hevo or be limited by admins on what they can access or change would benefit a lot of companies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are missing a dedicated engineer to help us scale out a data warehouse and that was holding us back for a little bit but Hevo allows us to bypass that need and we are now able to map out the data warehouse utilising Hevo
