Great Platform, Great Team
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is well laid out, and settings and configurations are easy to change. Integrations are straightforward. Our success partner, Laci, is great to work with. Very thorough and detail-oriented.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see additional Vendor Risk capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata assists us in managing our SOC 2 compliance requirements.
Genuinely helps to make ISO27001 & SOC2 audit & compliance and LOT easier
What do you like best about the product?
The Drata platform makes it a lot easier to check your systems to ensure that you're following best practices for ISO and SOC2 compliance/audit. The workstation monitoring agent is simple to deploy and use, and non intrusive.
Policy management is also greatly simplified, easily allowing you to map to controls and manage the lifecycle.
It's not panacea, and doesn't do "everything" for you, what it does is bring all the relevant information together to give you a more wholistic view of your current security posture. It's an integral part of the arsenal of any GRC and security professional.
Also, their onboarding process is fantastic. Our account manager was there every step of the way with helpful advice, chasing down answers to tricky questions and checking in to make sure we were set up for success.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a little tricky to navigate sometimes, but it can be a challenge when you're trying to bring so many disparate services together. It's not a major issue by any stretch, and I take no points off for this. Once you get into the swing if it, these "issues" disappear into the background of how helpful the overall platform can be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to have an overall view of our policy management and enforcement. Drata is extremely helpful in this.
SOC2 Compliance Sherpas
What do you like best about the product?
The whole experience with Drata has been first-class and they have differentiators every step of the way. We evaluated a competitor, and it was night and day difference from pre-sales, to onboarding, assigning a CSM, live compliance chats with an amazing SLA, and their established partnerships, we've received first-class customer service and response rates every step of the way. Having Drata, aka Sherpa, with us has made seeking SOC2 attestation an easy task on a small team, and we greatly appreciate the partnership.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not run across a negative side of Drata to this point. They've been able to answer every question we've come up with. We haven't yet explored the partnership side of things too in depth, but plan on doing so in very near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that our customers know that we put a primary focus on security and related controls is tantamount in today's business environment. We have already seen operational cost efficiencies in on-boarding and off-boarding due to automation and monitoring of controls.
Amazing Audit Experience
What do you like best about the product?
The automation and visibility into my environment have helped tremendously in my success in passing an audit. It's also a pleasure to work with the Drata team; they are accommodating and always reach out to ensure that everything is working great. I also appreciate the visibility into their roadmap for new features.

I haven't experienced any dislikes with Drata. The team is always available for any questions and always looking for feedback on how to improve the product.

Since I have a small team, Drata has saved me time with their automation. I can also view all of my monitoring controls in real-time, ensuring that I maintain 100% compliance for my organization. I also had the best audit experience in my career because I was using Drata.

I eagerly anticipate the availability of additional compliance resources for NIST, CMMC, and FedRAMP. From what I've heard, it's reassuring to know that they are currently in development and will be released soon.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not something I dislike but I REALLY want a feature to exclude things temporarily. I am currently making reminders on Slack so that I don't forget to re-include stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helps us prepare for audits by automating the collection of evidence. The best thing about Drata is the continuous monitoring of security controls. It helps us proactively remediate things as they happen instead of fixing things just for the sake of audits.
Drata is big enough to handle our compliance requirements, and small enough to care.

Highly responsive customer service and support team. Drata is big enough to cover a broad section of compliance requirements and small enough to understand our novel use cases and find ways for us to customise their product for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd love to see better handling for multi-product companies (such as ours) with varying compliance requirements in different business units. It would also be great if Drata offered a broader range of expertise in some of the more obscure regulatory standards.
We've been pleased with how the Drata team responded to this feedback, ensuring they make feature requests visible in their roadmap and keeping us in the loop for new features that may be useful to us.

We initially looked at Drata for ISO 27001 compliance, but have also found a number of practical uses in monitoring and user management. We'll plan to look at Drata's custom compliance frameworks to centralise all our compliance resources.

What do you like best about the product?
My experience with Drata and our CSM, Lizzie Higgins, has been phenomenal, but I never expected anything less. Drata has undoubtedly stayed ahead of the competition with its design, integrations, automation, realtime support, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to the automation and uploading evidence/artifacts, the platform does not allow a workaround.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Drata made something so difficult, the compliance, so easy to understand and track. Support at all levels, at all times, is incredible.

Nothing much - it saved us a lot of time.
