Drata is big enough to handle our compliance requirements, and small enough to care.
What do you like best about the product?
Highly responsive customer service and support team. Drata is big enough to cover a broad section of compliance requirements and small enough to understand our novel use cases and find ways for us to customise their product for our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd love to see better handling for multi-product companies (such as ours) with varying compliance requirements in different business units. It would also be great if Drata offered a broader range of expertise in some of the more obscure regulatory standards.
We've been pleased with how the Drata team responded to this feedback, ensuring they make feature requests visible in their roadmap and keeping us in the loop for new features that may be useful to us.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We initially looked at Drata for ISO 27001 compliance, but have also found a number of practical uses in monitoring and user management. We'll plan to look at Drata's custom compliance frameworks to centralise all our compliance resources.

What do you like best about the product?
My experience with Drata and our CSM, Lizzie Higgins, has been phenomenal, but I never expected anything less. Drata has undoubtedly stayed ahead of the competition with its design, integrations, automation, realtime support, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to the automation and uploading evidence/artifacts, the platform does not allow a workaround.

Incredible Support - both technical and compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Drata made something so difficult, the compliance, so easy to understand and track. Support at all levels, at all times, is incredible.

Nothing much - it saved us a lot of time.

Drata is helping us monitor controls for SOC2 audit and the controls, and feedback truly strengthen our security posture.
Comprehensive security audit platform is a force multiplier
What do you like best about the product?
Drata makes it easy to know what is necessary for your audit, continuously monitor it, as well as make it easy to understand the non-monitored controls. It also makes policy creation and management easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning the interface takes some time. There are unmonitored controls that could be monitored. Their notifications are missing some key features and not very robust or configurable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata gives us a single pane of glass and metric for knowing our audit readiness. It provides a platform for consolidation of security audit monitoring across multiple vendors.
The Single Best Compliance Software You Can Buy
What do you like best about the product?
The Drata software is excellent and incredibly intuitive, but what really stands out is its customer support. I have yet to have a question that went unanswered or sat for more than 30 minutes. I have never seen a more responsive and knowledgeable support team. If I don't quite understand something or have a simple question, I get the answer and am given material to better help me understand the answer to the question I'm asking. Our first crack at security compliance with another company did not go well, but Drata has knocked this out of the park, making this much easier on our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered anything I would deem negative about using Drata.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we grow and continue to take on larger clients, companies want to see that we are doing the right things regarding the security of their data. Drata is quickly helping us achieve this goal and will allow our business to continue to scale.
Surprisingly good experience
What do you like best about the product?
I was surprised by how Drata helped us to keep security compliant. It's a great tool, and I definitely would recommend it. The autopilot feature's "learn more" knowledge base is priceless. We are getting certified for 1st time, and our journey is not scary because of Drata. Also, the support from Laci White has been instrumental for us to overcome the challenges of dealing with our environment. I appreciate the professionalism and availability to answer questions and show how to do it. Thank you!

Nothing to list here at this time. Since we are in the 1st stages of learning and configuring, we have had a great experience.

I can see two key features that we are dealing with Drata and that is satisfying: the autopilot feature, which brings higher productivity, and the "learn more" knowledge base, which helps a lot to overcome a blocker.

Taking on SOC2 certification is not an easy task, Drata made it easy for us to pursue this certification with their platform and service. SOC compliance will help us to grow our business
Product is outstanding and the customer support is top notch.
What do you like best about the product?
We are a small startup and needed to be SOC2 compliant the day our product shipped. Drata saves me time. That is the number one benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would have more solutions I could buy, or a marketplace for other compliance options that integrate with my Drata tenant. Like products to help with GDPR. For example a cookie consent solution for our websites, a Terms of Service creator, a Privacy Policy creator. etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started with Drata because we needed to be SOC2 compliance with our first customer (!). We achieved that in less than a year which I did not expect. We are now down the path on ISO 27001 and NIST 800-53.
Security, Privacy, and Compliance are part of every (early) discussion we have with any customer. It is so nice to simply point them to our Drata instance.

An overall excellent experience
What do you like best about the product?
I ran into Drata at Saastr's Annual Conference and each conversation I have had since then has been great. It felt like throughout the entire process each person was genuinely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only point I'd recommend is figuring out a way to differentiate against the competition. We ultimately bought due to the better sales experience but I'd need a clearer picture on why they're better than the competition. Now that I am a customer, I know why, but that was a little tough to tell from a marketing perspective at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata saved us a ton of time in getting our SOC2 compliance complete. We were in a rush as a new startup and so they really helped us expedite this and make sure we were doing things the right way.
