Wix is Great For Creating Promotional Event Flyers
What do you like best about the product?
If you like simple and easy, the choose Wix to make your event flyers. It takes only 2-5 mins to create an event flyer. The site walks you through each step. Let's you review your flyer. Ask you what it will be used for, time, location, and design you want. Then you review it before you publish it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix selection of backgrounds are rather bland. If you decide your own flyer and then add your content using their site, you will be more happier with your final product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying Wix out to promote my online radio show and books on a more broader horizon. I feel that if people can see my works in multiple ways, then I might expand my audience. The benefits from using Wix are you can send your flyers on multiple networks, get assistance if needed, and you can create a guest list and sell tickets if needed for your event by using their site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
They need better background covers. I had a hard time creating my event information. It would show it, then when time to design the page, it would only show the subject of my event.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix is highly intuitive and offers hundreds of templates. It offers free and reliable hosting. It has an optimized mobile view. It has an in-built image editor too. It has a drag and drop interface to make tasks simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix lacks advanced marketing tools. It also does not provide an in-built data export facility. It may slow down by adding widgets too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix has an app market that allows you to add widgets and add-ons to your sites. It also has artificial design intelligence features that assist you in website designing. Wix provides excellent customer support.

I absolutely love that you can fully customize from individual page colors to placement of objects anywhere.

Nothing at the moment. Anything I suggest usually gets added.

I use it for almost all of my clients and their needs but for m it especially helps to have everything in one place.

I like the ease of customizing a wix template and making it your own. It's so easy to use that when you show your client how to maintain it, it's doable; no coding needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
> On the wix store plan, I wish they had the ability to upload files along with an order. Currently, you have to use a Dropbox app to have customers upload files. But, if you app a dropbox upload button to one page or category of items, it shows up for all store items - not cool.

It's fast, easy, and gives you a multitude of choices to start with. Easy access to updating and changing content for customer.

I recommend understanding what your needs are when building a site. If you are using it for portfolio, showing of services, or showing basic info, then wix is good. If you are looking to sell products, be sure you understand what other app implementations you will have to use.

Not really a great shopify integration.

Creating a business website. I used to use Wordpress, but was sick of all the headache. I can't believe I didn't do it earlier. It is easy to set up, and then easy to maintain. Some of the themes are harder than others, but it just depends on how detailed you want to get.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity and ease of use, while still being 100% customizable. I love that there are options for free use as well as packages. I run a small side business, and when I first began, and even now, I don't have a lot of money to put towards extra things. But a website is a necessity these days, and so having a free option to create what I needed to get myself out there has been huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't had any bad experiences, other than what is brought upon myself by my lack of tech savvy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
These days, any business needs a website, no matter what they're areas of expertise. I needed a professional platform to showcase my work and make it easy for customers to contact me, and wix has provided that.

What do you like best about the product?
I build websites. So, when building a site, I tend to code or to go for Wordpress platforms. However, as much as I encourage business owners to get a professional to help them brand and build their online homes, it just isn't feasible for some. Especially on an ongoing basis, money wise. So I refer them to Wix. Wix is the best option for business owners who want to do it themselves. It's a one stop shop to purchase hosting and domain and makes the process of getting started easy and cost efficient. It's also a simple drag and drop platform that makes learning how to build your site simpler than code ever would be. So making updates as the business grows and shifts is easier and more affordable to do than ever!
What do you dislike about the product?
I hate the limited amount of templates. Because some business owners ARE doing it for themselves, they don't have the experience and foresight of a designer or developer who knows how to take what the business needs from a site and convert it into a functional, user friendly, customer conversion machine, they choose a template based on fads, trends and gimmicky features. And it looks like everyone else's website who chose the same template. I dislike that once you create a desktop site it doesn't automatically convert to a mobile responsive site. It's easy enough to update, but if you forget, your site will end up looking crazy. Also, once you choose a template, you pretty much are stuck with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits are ease of use for business owners with a limited budget. So this solves the problem of a website presence being more fiscally accessible.

Make sure to assess what you need in a website before taking on the task of building or even looking for a template. A simple task like taking the time to jot a list of your needs will help you save time and frustration and possibly keep your site from looking cookie cutter. It will help you gain a better ROI on your investment so your website isn't just "sitting pretty".

Wix has some nice templates and is very easy to use.

Wix looks a bit unprofessional. Also when you’re setting up your website the site takes very long to load and often crashes.

I made my first website with Wix. It was perfect to make my first site on this website.
