What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Wix is the way that the general site creation process in Wix is simple and free, it doesn't require an excessive number of procedures, Drag-and-drop, huge amounts of applications and additional items is extremely simple to change any easily overlooked detail it has an enormous number of formats to demonstrate an expert perspective to any extend. The made site is facilitated on their servers, guaranteeing the client of security of their information and data. What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the manner in which the site dashboards are spread out. It is hard to explore the different highlights, and discovering things like webpage traffic is non-intuitive and something else that I abhorrence is the advertisements that are added to my site. You need to pay somewhat extra to get those expelled

Great for Beginners
What do you like best about the product?
This website builder is perfect for beginners. I like that the platform is rather easy to customize. The fact that they have templates, but you can completely customize them based on your skill level is nice. I have spent a lot of time using a template as a starter, but completely altering it to fit my needs to where the template isn't recognizable. The extra features like integration with other applications make it more fun. I also appreciate the fact that they let you work on making the site look good on mobile devices. This is very important now as most people view the pages on their phones and tablets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that the price of the websites can be rather expensive. There are times where I have found that loading times can be sort of slow. I also find that if you are more experienced and are looking for a more customization site Wix will hinder that for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix saves me time. Even with just the free based service. It took me about 2-3 days to set up my resume/portfolio site. It also is very helpful that it lets you see if it looks good on mobile devices. This just saved lots of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My recommendation is to choose a template and then build off of that. I'm not fond of the template builder that only allows you to do certain things. You can't customize it as easily.

The simplicity of their website design and their wide array of templates, fonts, and colors to help customize my website to make our company look as good as possible!

Some features are available on the easy mode, and others on the advanced mode. All settings are lost when you switch from one to the other.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I like that Wix has a lot of design options and is very easy to use. The app makes it even easier to interact with visiting customers or people.

Even at a higher package, still seems a little laggy when visiting my website.

Wix is helping me blog more consistently because of the app and dashboard features.

Wix has a ton of integrated features for advertising and SEO and really makes it an easy platform to use.

Wix gives users as much freedom as possible— there's a huge library of elements and you can even design your own theme from scratch. I love the CRM/Menu functionality for restaurants.

I wish there were a way to easily transfer content when and if you create a new website design for your business.

Some of the themes are cool. Other than that the ease of use is not all there like their leading competitors.

Mostly everything. I dont like the setup for anything. The connect options aren't where I think they should be.

They make it super easy to create a website of your own. There are templates to chose from if you don't know how you want to make your set up or you can start completely from scratch. It is also a lot cheaper to do it yourself than to hire someone else to make it for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about it. It is simple and easy to use. I feel like anyone could create a stunning and professional looking web page on their own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My husband runs his own business and wanted to create a website to advertise it better. We looked into hiring people to make it for us, but they were all too expensive. I heard about Wix and decided to give it a shot. I made a great website and get tons of compliments on it. His clients can email him through the website and ask for inquiries, which is cool.

If you run your own business and want to advertise it better, definitely try Wix out. You won't be disappointed. It is super easy to use and looks great when done!

I love how much I am able to customize my website to myself and my company. I am able to add so many different aspects to my website that help to bring clients in and keep them engaged.

I dislike the app that they have for the website, I feel like it should be easier to use and able to do more things for the website!

One of the Better Site Builders
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature is being able to drag and drop items into the page where I want them. Before Wix I was confined by coding and essentially learning a new language that was not user friendly and took expertise.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be very clunky and drop frames if you do not have a decent computer. My editing computer handles it with ease, but when I use my laptop items will skip across the page or typed text will slowly appear even after I have finished typing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Wix to make my own website and it has allowed me to have a professional looking piece of digital real estate where i can direct clients to see my bodies of work.

Wix is a website builder that allows even beginners who are a little web/tech savvy to produce a website that looks like it was coded by a pro.

My personal laptop struggles a little with some aspects of Wix; professional-grade capabilities = slow load time.

Between their built-in layout options, transitions, amazing stock photos, and customizable content, my Wix site looks better than I ever could've imagined creating on my own.

While I have seen countless amazing & professional-looking Wix sites on the web, I've also seen some made by folks who clearly shouldn't have designed their website themselves. Wix's myriad of features makes it very possible to go overboard & create a site that is either so overloaded with elements that it can't function like it should, or aesthetically unpleasing to the point of being actually unreadable. Wix is amazing, but website building is not for everyone- if this is you, don't be afraid to outsource the labor! I can't tell you how many websites I've visited to consider a business's services, and been scared off so badly by their poorly-designed website as to never consider them again. In this technological age, your website is your storefront; you want people's first impressions to be inviting.
