Very easy to use but with some details
What do you like best about the product?
There are many things that I like about Wix, for example, it is very easy to use, I can create a web page in a short time, it has a very good drag and drop tool, thanks to it, if I want to add some element, I just have to drag and drop it wherever I want. It also has a wide variety of templates where I just have to edit them, that is a great advantage for me, when I don't want to start designing a web page from scratch. And the good thing is that it works on cell phones and tablets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are several things that Wix has to improve. First, the template I choose to create my website can no longer be changed in the future. However, there is an option to change the template, but all the information on the website would be lost. That's why I always have to think very well what template I want to use. And another thing that I don't like is that with the free plan I only have 500mb of bandwidth and another 500 of storage, I think it's very little.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to Wix I have been able to make many websites quickly and easily, I did not have to do a course or watch tutorials on YouTube to learn how to use it. In addition, Wix is free and the templates adapt to mobile devices perfectly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Wix for those people who are starting a business and are going to create a web page for the first time, as it is easy to use.

Not aware of any problems so far. I have been using for 2 years for my business site

What do you like best about the product?
Wix has a very easy sign up process, with that and it being a well known platform this leads to lots of new users. The user dashboard is very easy and intuitive, with a great drag and drop design system so no development skills needed which is a huge bonus for those without skills or those with limited time. Have good out the box optimisation it's very useful, although not as much as wordpress, magneto or shopify etc. Woth a nice selection of apps and plugins you can see why lots of new businesses use this platform/ CMS as a gateway into websites before moving on
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix has an image problem. Always being rated against wordpress and other competitors its seen as the runt of the little, which is a little harsh. Its templates are rather simple and limited and its always easy to spot a wix website when you land on one. Not having the ability to optimise as much with regards SEO is a big issue, especially in the days if the new mobile first indexing when trying to access the editor on mobile devices it says this device is not supported at the moment, I have a brand new Samsung s9
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having no development skills. Not needing to pay a development company. You can make ok looking websites with a design degree or photoshop etc. Ease of site launch is great and speedy. The costs with wix are in the Lowe end of the price range

Improve seo optimisation, fix mobile device being able to access the editor, change your ' runt if the litter ' image

What do you like best about the product?
The opportunity to create web pages, quickly, easily and versatilely, offers templates that save time, depending on user requirements, it is possible to connect the site to your own domain, it can be adapted to mobile devices
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix does not allow to use Google Analytics in its free version, as well as, the loading speed is slow from some mobile devices, but apart from that specific use case, everything else has been very easy to access and understand
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Wix I can publish my research on the web quickly and access any computer to consult and modify.

The web application is easy to use, excellent support, saves time. The benefits and tools are excellent, it is a great support in the publication of information on the web, I recommend it.

If you aren't familiar with using a page builder is hard to figure out.

Limited in how many shoutouts or email updated. And looked in bandwidth.

What do you like best about the product?
It is so intuitive. That is what attracts me the most. Wix is a simple platform, that is true, but that is not a bad thing for those who are starting in the web scenario. My first website I did there, and I learn a lot from it.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike has to do with the integration system between desktop and mobile version. There are occasions that you change somethings in one and does not appear in other. This is so annoying, because I have to do the same thing twice in order to make it fit. Not everything fits in both versions equally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a ton of good memories, because my first website was made in Wix. I have learn so much about online things and the practicality to do things such as the templates, was very welcome. Some headaches with the mobile version, but that is all. Pluggins could be better.

I totally recommend for you initiating your website experience there, especially because the easy way to build from nothing, and the flexibility around the tools.
The web editing platform in Wix is simple enough for me to use for many websites
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to use the design and editing tools in Wix. Even though it is so simple to use and maneuver around, I think most of the final websites that we create using Wix look pretty fantastic. I like that the designs keep it simple with nice layouts that allow the content to breathe, whether that's text or large photos that span the width of the screen. The pricing is good and I think it's pretty comparable to standard hosting plans I know about.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think with most web builders, there's an issue of loading times due to all of the backend editing files that are used when creating dynamically-generated web pages. I'm not exactly sure about what all that technical coding elements do in the background, but I'm aware that those types of databases may cause websites to not load as quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix has been a pretty great tool for creating visually nice websites that I consider professional. We can use Wix websites to post information about services, events, promotions or basically anything we need to post. We can also use them for blogging platforms and for e-commerce products like shopping carts. I think that Wix websites are good when we want to create websites that are made well for search engine optimization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wix is good for common website needs, but I also think that if you are very creative you can use it for even more advanced needs. I would suggest checking out some of the sites that already exist through Wix to get an idea if it would be a good fit for you and your company.

I needed a clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate way to post content and Wix far surpassed the other free options out there.

What do you like best about the product?
The choices of backgrounds, gifs and the ease of use of all that is involved. It was easy for me to add my product and pricing. For someone who has no HTML experience. The price given to me by Wix was fair comparing to other websites of the same nature. However the choices in backgrounds were a lot better than Shopify who I tried first. I also paid for Shopify for over a year before deciding to go with WIX. I'd say I made the best choice of the 2.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say I have found anything I dislike thus far. I have not run into anything that was really complex or hard to figure out. I will do a secondary review if I do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not found any issues to report thus far. I am in charge of all that has to do with the website. From beginning to end. Currently I am in the process of find how to implement my dropshipping vendor on to the website. The issues I have with this are the vendor's issues not a Wix issue. I had to set up a drop shipping account with the company to get this done. Once that is done I am set and ready to go.

If you want a web building site that is an easy set up, easy to navigate through for your online business Wix is the way to go.
