Hey! I’d like to share my experience with Wix.com. It’s incredibly easy to use, requires no coding, and is simple to manage. You can quickly optimize your website and make changes whenever you want. The best part is its marketing tools and blogging features, which help you stay connected with your audience, keep up with trends, and share your thoughts. I highly recommend Wix for anyone looking to grow their business or focus on personal development—it’s definitely worth trying!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have much knowledge about SEO, so I want a tool that can handle these aspects for me, allowing me to avoid dealing with this part. so in the tool, this part took me difficuly .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was searching for a simple, no-code platform to create a website for my portfolio and other purposes where I could showcase my expertise and engage with others. I found one, used it, and it has been incredibly helpful for my needs.
Wix has been great to work with and create a site for my customers to see my work.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and lots of pre-built templates to utilize and make editing easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it feels washed down or not allowing me to create something that you see on a fancier brand, but I'm still learning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix responds quickly to any questions that come up. They have been helpful and that is always good to have on my side when working on projects with a tight deadline.
Easy websites that look good
What do you like best about the product?
Wix is easy to use and gets small business owners off the ground running quickly. It's a great option for customers who aren't ready to hire a developer to make them a custom website or maybe aren't wanting to have to manage WordPress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really - I like it for small business owners and people who want a personal website.

It's a great solution to recommend to small business owners. They can build their websites with it and not have to worry about any of the management or coding parts of owning a website.
Do not use Native app / Branded App

I’ve really enjoyed working with Wix for websites and bookings.

I’ve really enjoyed working with Wix for websites and bookings, so when it was time to build my own app, I naturally chose Wix again. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a big mistake.
I built my branded/native app using the Wix system, but it has now been rejected by Google three times with the same issue: “Crashes for users – the app opens but keeps crashing.” It has also been rejected by Apple.
I expected that using Wix’s app builder would result in a functional product – especially given their strong presence in the website space – but this has not been the case.
Customer support has been extremely disappointing. Responses are delayed, vague, and often feel AI-generated. I’m not even sure if I’ve spoken to a human at all. Despite repeated contact, no one has taken responsibility or provided a clear timeline for a solution.
I would not recommend using Wix for app development based on this experience.

I liked the ease of the website functionality and real time updates.

I started using the SEO and they are TERRIBLE. They don't back it up and allow you to set it up but then if it does not work...the blame it on Google and don't alert you about it being disapproved but keep charging you for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problem they were solving for us was creating a website...but sadly I am going to be leaving them because they have no integrity and charge you for SEO but then don't support it and blame it on google. If ads are disapproved...they don't alert you...but they definitely keep charging you for it.
Fraudulent renewal scams - and way harder to use than Webflow or Tilda
What do you like best about the product?
It's become a fully-integrated marketing platform (lite version)... so if you need bare minimum CRM, email marketing, shopping cart, etc. with a no-code website builder it's not a bad place to start and their template library is pretty good. But that is also why it's not a great platform if you think your business will grow - none of the tools are as robust as something else - sort of a jack-of-all-trades platform that's not great at any of it but can be an okay entry point.

All of their tech is okay but not great. For example: their email marketing is okay but not as good as Mailchimp/competitors that specialize in email, their CRM is better than nothing, but not as good as Pipedrive/NutshellCRM or other SMB-targeted CRMs (not even talking about Hubspot which I consider more for larger orgs). And their web builder is good, with good templates and decent capabilities, but not as intuitive/easy to use as Webflow, Squarespace or Tilda - and doesn't have near the SEO capabilities or tech customization native in Webflow or Tilda.
In short, you can get okay ecommerce, but would be better off with Shopify or BigCommerce. You can get okay email marketing and CRM but would be better off getting specialized apps and then dropping their form fields into your site. You can build a decent website with Wix, but for advanced and custom design/integrations/actions as you grow your business - and better SEO tools - you'd be better off with Webflow or Tilda.
Additionally, in my opinion, they've gotten more scammy over time as their tech has been surpassed by competitors. I used to build client sites in Wix all the time (between 2016 - 2019 I built 5 client sites plus my own there)... but they've instituted hidden upcharges, confusing subscription plans and a super shady renewal practice where they bill you 14 days before your renewal ends and then tell you it can't be refunded even if you cancel before your newly-purhcased-but-not-wanted renewal starts. I don't like doing business with companies I feel like are trying to screw me so I'd have stopped using them for that reason alone.

A no-code website builder that can get a small business website built and launched quickly. It is simple enough that usually a non-technical person at a client company can then update/manage their site themselves without needing agency/tech support for day-to-day updates.
Wix - a simple, no-code solution to design and host your own website.
What do you like best about the product?
I needed to get a website online ASAP - with zero experience! After a lot of research, I came across Wix (with the help of Ai of course). From registering to publishing my website took less than 6 hours, that's how simple it is to use. I now log into the console daily, tweaking my website but also monitoring the traffic to the website. Even with the basic plan I'm using, the analytics are pretty impressive. Designing the website pages, adding photos, and links to social media was a breeze. They also have a host of apps that integrate easily with Wix. I've used 2 already. If you need help, customer support is just a click away, with a live chat option as well. I never thought launching my very own website would be so easy. I'm well and truly impressed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The initial pricing guide is a little misleading, especially if you are a total newbie. The monthly subscription is pretty reasonable. Only after you've paid for the subscription, they inform you that you need to pay an annual domain registration fee which is like 3x the subscription price (it is for 12 months tough).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The traditional route of using a web designer, finding a provider to host your site and launching it is something I didn't want to do. Using Wix saved me bucket load of time and money.
