Among the best of no-code website builders - perfect for designers
What do you like best about the product?
Extremely intuitive, a complete set of gui tools to work directly with zero learning curve, a good ecosystem of 3rd party widgets to extend capabilities, and a very nice set of SEO tools that take you through the content optimization and tagging process step-by-step. Wix Velo provides great code editing and customization features easy enough to use by non-coders.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has mobile responsive issues, especially when viewing on non-standard screens such as tablets or non-standard phone screen sizes. Responsive issues are the single biggest reason I was forced to look at alternatives to Wix.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No-code website building allows me to easily offer websites as part of my service offering basket. Wix is my go-to platform choice to package my content writing, social media and marketing services.
On-going edits and updates to websites with new content and blogs is really very easy.
Wix is also a very stable platform - there are almost no nasty front-end surprises after publishing the content via the cms. You get exactly what you see.
Wix has completely eliminated my need to hire a web developer for small projects and content updates and that's saving me quite a bit of time and money.

Wix is also a very stable platform - You get exactly what you see on end-user screens. There are some mobile responsive issues when viewing on tablets and ipads, but they can be resolved with some creative design workarounds. Wix is great for designers and marketers because it extends your service offering into website building with zero requirements for coding knowledge.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix has been great for our small cleaning company as it has given us a way to promote our business in a way that is both positive and professional. Wix has given our cleaning company Spot Clean a state of the art platform!
What do you dislike about the product?
This would not be a disadvantage for everyone but for myself, it was a little difficult having to find a way to change customer options for example: number of rooms, add-ons, etc.Otherwise, Wix is #1 for Spot Clean!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company Spot Clean uses Wix Bookings as a consumer platform to allow potential customers to schedule their one-time, weekly, biweekly and monthly cleaning services!

What do you like best about the product?
With its DIY e-commerce features, WIX is certainly one of the best website builders. One thing I liked the most about WIX is there are plenty of good templates to start with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not only WIX but most of its peers offers plans that are billed annually. From the end-user perspective, if there is a monthly plan with a full-feature availability, one can test their services and then upgrade if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am Selling online and finding customers (through integrated marketing solutions from WIX) for an e-commerce website. Also, we are able to build a community with the "WIX SPACE" app.

Easy to build website with great templates
What do you like best about the product?
website templates are easy to deploy and whole site is functional without leaving any loopholes in pageflow. I used wixsite in designing an educational website for client.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the templates which are really good ones, are paid. Lack of Integrations similar to WordPress is also one of the issues. Ability to run analytics plugins and customer analytics through API integration is one of the focus areas. Limited number of pages being handled, is one of the improvement areas though
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The website is intuitive and fulfills all the important areas to be filed before deploying online. Also , I was able to collect the user responses in tabular format. Integrates well with CSS and Javascript wherever needed. Had to work around for Email Integration with the site.

Wix is easy to use,helpful and intuitive. Wix gives upgraded templates so you can easily drag and drop different designs and create a professional-looking website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the templates are not available on the free plan. There are no unlimited plans available even with the premium rates so storage issues can be a problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit is Wix allows me to create a personal website and/or a business website quickly, easily and with little cost. Wix is solving the problem of getting my information online for others to see in a fun and quick way that looks very professional.

Wix is great, especially for beginners who like to publish blogs and articles. It has simple interface and already has presets that you can choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's free but you can't have a special domain that can be used for google adsense. If you want to use the domain, you can subscribe to their products.

Publishing blogs is very difficult now due to competition. But, after I used Wix, I assure you that your site will look professional.

First, Wix is not great for creating ecommerce stores. If you want to sell products online, you would be better off using a platform like Shopify.

The most intuitive tool to use. It was my first time building a website and it felt so easy using Wix!

It is difficult to use in older softwares.

Wix designs don't seem super flashy but for a tech site, it allows for a simplistic design that's straight to the point and does accept coding well for more personalization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The original designs were not that flashy.

I assist a business that helps PhD students move from academia to industry. Candidates are not into flashy. They tend to enjoy the simplistic look of the site which is possible by Wix allowing coding to fall in line with design simply.

I like that the website is so user-friendly and easy to use. You don't need to have any experience to be able to use the website to make your first website. I would recommend it to anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like more options as far as templates go, I would like to be able to have more variety to choose from. I'd also like more information ability to use functions like a CRM, or Social Media manager through the system so everything is all in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix is so easy to use it's accessible on desktop and mobile, and you can have the ability to add other contributors to the site if you need to be able to collaborate so that is a huge benefit.

Take your time and upload all of your site files into the system before you start your project doing so will save you time on your website build. Also, don't be afraid to reach out to customer services they are extremely helpful!
