Easy, Quick & Perfect for Beginners
What do you like best about the product?
I used Wix with a client who is a professional in the Beauty industry. With posting weekly blog posts, Wix was the perfect platform to post, engage customers, in an easy yet edgy format.
What do you dislike about the product?
With Wix, you are limited to the layouts and formats. If you want something more tailored to your brand, using Wix might not be the best route. For basic needs, Wix is perfection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Regarding benefits, Wix was perfect for multi-users to post on the blog portion of our website. We would have contributing writers very often, and the ease for them to login and post without any former knowledge of HTML or website formatting, Wix made it user friendly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For users starting a small business and/or just needing a simple platform to inform the public, Wix is your best bet. Their user interface is friendly and easy, but also informative. If you have a question about what you are doing, Wix provides answers to those questions.
Wonderful Website platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Wix is a "drag and drop" type of website builder. I am a print designer, and have dragged my feet for YEARS on making my own website. When I found Wix, I thought it was So easy for me to be able to just upload pictures, type copy, choose a layout for my site, all without having to code a single thing. I love being able to go in to my website at any time, and add a page, hide a page (I typically do this during the holidays when I offer special holiday services). I also like being able to change my portfolio frequently. I would not be able to do this if I had to code everything, nor would I want to. :-)
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the SEO was a little more in depth. As well as being able to see who tracks your website, and who visits. I'd like to be able to see who is visiting, how many times, how many people, etc. Maybe I haven't figured that part out so much, but I feel like it should be a little more accessible. Also, I just downloaded their app for iPhone, and while it's somewhat useful. You can't really see much of your information on the app. I think the Wix app could have a little more to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving not having an online portfolio! With the ease of Wix, I was able to finally create my online portfolio, keep in touch with my clients and followers via all of my social media sites, and I can easily send my website to anyone asking to see my work, or want information about me and what I do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely a great product/program to consider. Especially if you do not enjoy coding websites. It's really easy to use and build a website using one of their templates, or from scratch.
Pretty user friendly, and where it isn't, there is customer service to help me.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the templates, the expanding boxes, the ease of customization, navigating pages and building them with styles that work for my requirements. I like that I can copy a whole page and edit it to my specifications, or copy my whole website for that matter, change it and then toss the other one out entirely. I like that I get to feel like a technological bad ass.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the apps are not as easy. 123 form builder has been a bit of a pain. Sometimes I do pages over and over again and they don't work. The formatting is difficult to manage and you can't just change fonts, text or formatting within the form you are building, there is a separate place to do it and it does not look the same once you save it and view it. This can be super super frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the problem of making it easier to have clients fill out forms, find out about what I do, pay me, all with less steps. I realize that the more convenient I can make every move for my clients, the less stress they will have and the more interested they will be in having me assist them in removing more stress through my programs.
Wix - great tool on a budget
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to learn and use, and it's free. You can actually do quite a bit using the free version.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any free version, there are some things you can't do, and the company's logo appears on your website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Wix to help build a site for a relative's restaurant. It was perfect because she didn't want to spend any money, and she was able to include everything she needed to on the site. The main goal was to get the menu online to make it easier for people to place to-go orders.

Extremely easy to use, even for people who aren't tech savvy!
What do you dislike about the product?
We struggle with its connection to our Facebook page as Facebook has for some reason tagged our website as suspicious.

We have utilized the website platform for getting information to our clients as well as our blog.

Very user friendly and easy to navigate. Great for the person looking for an easy way to create a professional website.
Wix is easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to learn. From a designer standpoint, it's easy to visualize what you want it to look like and get it there in minutes. I can avoid headaches involving code and I save tons of time. Wix also gives you a lot of options to customize. There are things I can manipulate to create something unique even when the standard user will just use a template.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you are limited in certain things. It's not always possible to get things how you want them, although over the years, Wix has continued to add more and more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating websites for clients. I create create websites faster and more efficiently through Wix.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a bit of a learning curve much like most programs. It's a different way of creating a website but can be great if you take the time to learn all of the quirks.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix is a wonderful tool for folks who don't have a ton of web design experience to develop and quite easily update a professional looking website. It's user friendly and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there's very little I dislike. There are a ton of features for integrations with other services and websites, and Wix has plenty of its own built-in options. I suppose I could say that it's likely more expensive on an annual basis to run a website through Wix rather than coordinating all the parts on your own, but you're paying for the ease of service so you can focus on your business!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm trying to gain exposure to a larger audience, to give my company an online presence that might attract new clients and will give current clients confidence that they're dealing with a real and professional company!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wix frequently offers big discounts to new users, so wait for a "sale" and give it a try. You'll get a discounted first year during which you can try it out!
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use, intuitive. Has good templates. Hosting is good. Has basic online shop.
What do you dislike about the product?
The online shop is a bit limited. The gallery option as well, adjusting picture sizes in a gallery is not straightforward. When trying to make a clone website to translate have not been able to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Website building. It is great to build your first website. Prices are good.

Try it out first. It is possible to publish a website for free.
