Easy to use for portfolio
What do you like best about the product?
The templates are great and totally customizable. They work for what you need!
What do you dislike about the product?
You can fall into a black hole of customization if you're like me and want perfection. Otherwise, the templates are great and versatile for many industries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using for portfolio. It's easy to set up your own url, Google ad words, customization.
Wonderful platform & easy to use for anyone wanting to build a website
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use tool allowing for someone with even little knowledge on website building to create something clean and quick. I also like that there are options to personalise your site you build.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it says "wix" on your site, but that's how you "pay" for using the free building option, so that's fair.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a quick site for someone that doesn't have the money to build a site from scratch. Great for small businesses starting out.
Great website platform for non-coders
What do you like best about the product?
Wix has a very simple platform for anyone to build a website with ease. You don't need to know code or design to build since it has a drag and drop feature on top of the many designs you can pick from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't much I dislike about Wix. It is simple and easy!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to make my resume online and more graphic for those companies I am applying to.
Wix isnt a fix

It tries to make website building available to anyone
What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty much everything. The templates are not as user friendly as they make it out to be. Unless you have a good eye for design, this doesnt work well for most people. The monthly fee overtime is more expensive than having professionals build out the site for you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None. We removed Wix since it didnt help us with our client's solution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend going through a professional branding expert rather than the do it yourself wix method
Great program with some flaws!
What do you like best about the product?
It's incredibly easy to use and intuitive. I first used it for myself about a year ago and have transferred all of my clients over to it as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get incredibly laggy while working on Wix, and it also doesn't work well with Safari. I HAVE to use chrome no mater what.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating websites quickly for all clients. It also allows me to transfer over the site to clients easily and have the run it on the back end after I'm done with smooth sailing.
Great for starters

Wix was so easy to use, I was able to edit content and have a professional looking website very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The adds, I understand we have to pay to not have them but seemed like they had alot.

I like the drag and drop aspect and the flexibility on what I can create/design.

I dislike the mobile optimization and the SEO settings for individual blog posts.

I have been able to successfully improve SEO and rankings for clients with Wix.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have an agency, I would definitely look at your goals first before using Wix. I like it, but I do not love it.
Wix Websites: User Friendly and Customizable
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Wix is simple: the easy to use website builder tools.
Almost any one can create an account, free or otherwise, and get to work building a website in no time.
I have also been able to use it at work, there was even a seminar hosted at work for those who were unfamiliar with Wix and companies like it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I "dislike" the Wix upgrade options, but I definitely think I would prefer different options when wanting to purchase domains and paid packages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix solves the problem of needing to learn code to create a decent website and also makes sure to have multiple options for those interested in publishing a website with an official domain. With Wix, there is no need to use an outside source to purchase a domain address, but there is also the option to link a domain to your wix-generated website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For those considering Wix, make sure you get a grasp of the website and tools by using a template and editing or designing a website from scratch. Use the free/evaluation version of the wix site until you are comfortable and understand all the pricing terms. Unless you are ok with just the free/evaluation version..although the free version of Wix has ads which can be very distracting.

not SEO friendly otherwise it's perfect!

personal, event websites, client on budget

great for initial website or event. In a future, invest to wordpress or sqaurespace.

Wix is extremely easy to use and has tons of useful features, including a great SEO tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't always play nice with ad tags, making it difficult to track certain actions. Their e-commerce plug-in is also somewhat limited.
