User friendly, but lacks some features.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that fact that anyone can do it. It is very straight forward and easy to use. You don't have to have any web design experience to put together a nice looking, functional website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Certain functions are lacking, for instance there is no way to block other countries from viewing your site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to redo our nonprofit website, making it more user friendly as well as given it a nice face lift.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would recommend to people or business just getting started with limited web design experience.
Decent platform for a basic website
What do you like best about the product?
The layout and navigation features are attractive and easy enough to use. Visually, the platform is appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some areas in which managing things and making updates is not intuitive. For example, editing some basic features for blogs, such as editing the background color.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A basic website to show to customer. Our digital front door to our business.

For the most part, easy to figure out.
Not a fan
What do you like best about the product?
I guess WIX is easy to use. If you're looking for a simple template and a website that doesn't generate you any business then I guess this is fine.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pretty much everything. Is it easy? Sure. But what value does it add? It's not well coded, no matter what they say it isn't well SEOed. It's not designed to bring customers to your door. Pretty much a waste of time and make you feel better that you "have a website"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I honestly don't see any value here. Maybe if you're looking to do a community event, school event, etc then this would be fine. For an actual business that is trying to bring increase their sales and have an online presence then this is not for them.
Easy, beautiful, valuable
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can make a beautiful and easy to edit website without needed to know how to do graphic design or HTML.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was dissatisfied for a while with Google AdSense not being compatible, but it has now been added back!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am making money off my blog and driving leads for my business.
Easy to use for non-coders!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple this website builder is to use. I've built a website for my side business, portfolio sites for clients, and more. It's intuitive, easy to use, and easy to roll-out!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish this tool had greater template options that were selectable by color pallets that my brand(s) use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed a website for my side business - fast! I logged into Wix after trying WordPress and found that I could make a site in half the time without the intense coding customization that WordPress provides. I wanted to build a clean (both in look and code) site with content that I had on-hand on my own. Self-management was also critical as I didn't have time to call on a developer to push things through.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Expect a simple, straight forward experience. Usable for even the most elementary website builders. I do use the paid version for more photo storage and it's quite affordable for a small business.

What do you like best about the product?
The easy functionality of the site with regards to design. The person utilizing wix does not need to have background in HTML.
What do you dislike about the product?
The structure of the website is not as flexible as I would like.

I appreciate a user friendly interface, especially the Wix tool that essential designs a website for you based on your preferences.

There isn't really a part of Wix I dislike at this time!

I'm solving problems of design and awareness with an attractive sight that catches the attention of web browsers.

Great for good-looking, simple websites
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create very good-looking websites. The templates all look great and you can customize them to match your brand. Their suggestions really help those that aren't very design-savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Th functionality is somewhat limited. They have a few integrations, but if you're looking for more sophisticated features, you may have to do some custom work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We don't use our website for much- just basically a place to see who we are and links to our calendar, social media, and events. The benefits are that we now show up on google and can reach more people more easily. It makes our organization look great because we have a great looking website.

I would definitely recommend this for simple, good looking websites!
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The Wix platform is very easy to use - has drag and drop functionality but is also very custom
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little templated so not as flexible as a custom website build. You have to pay to get the Wix logo off of the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An easy and cheap solution to rebuild an old website. Helping to make branding more modern.
Made me feel like a web developer even though I didn't have any training

It's very easy to figure out how to us it. It allowed for me to create a professional looking page without having any previous training

Some templates end up looking like a school project and not professional. Really have to look through external sources for help
