best web development website
What do you like best about the product?
it is easy to use and it has lots of a different features

you need to pay for hosting and domain for your website

Of course you could make a presentable and functioning website with Wix.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wix markets that they are easy to use for anyone and they offer services that you can pay extra for to set up a lot of the site for you. This may help you with the foundation of the site, by it will likely look unprofessional and you may encounter difficulties customizing down the line. One of my clients was someone who paid extra to get a start up package on Wix...she ended up ditching this any hired me to make her a Wordpress site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well they got me a gig since they a poor platform to use and confused one of my clients. So I benefitted from it!

Use Squarespace or Wordpress

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease with which I can build each section of my website and decide how I want it navigated.
What do you dislike about the product?
The function to add file links renames your files with a gibberish wix html. It would be better it allowed me to keep my original file name so that if someone downloads the file, it is searchable under the correct name on their device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wix provides an easy way to establish and maintain an online presence. I can refer prospects and clients to my website to view my profile, work samples, testimonials and more.
Easy-To-Build Sites That Look Great
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Wix is known for its top-notch design elements and templates. Most Wix sites I see look very professional, and with the custom design interface (drag-and-drop, etc.) it's really easy to build a site quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there's so much that's customizable on the front end, I feel like the backend ultimately suffers when it comes to analytics. Wix analytics are not only limited, but I think they're also at risk of being inaccurate a good portion of the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our goal with our Wix site is to generate and convert more customer leads. I feel that having a professional-looking site that's easy to navigate definitely helps us meet that goal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Wix is best for users looking for a good-looking website without a ton of technical training. If you're looking for something that displays a portfolio, a gallery, or a menu of services, but nothing super complicated and interactive, Wix is your site.
Used to Build eCommerce Website
What do you like best about the product?
Wix makes it easy for someone with little knowledge to be able to create great looking, mobile responsive websites.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation can sometimes be confusing. Not on your own website but to get to where you want to go to edit your website. Not great admin navigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to set up a website to shop our boutique. We wanted to be able to plug in some sort of payment acceptance and Wix makes it easy to do those things.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are several offerings for building your own website, but Wix seems to be the most user-friendly in my opinion. Wix requires the least "website building" knowledge and really helps people get their websites up and running.
Easy to Use and is always updating with new features
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can get a site created in such a short time. I have even set up a 3-page website in less than 3 hours.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features like domain pointing can take some time to learn, but that is really more for advanced users anyway.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For anyone that needs a simple site that is affordable, does not require to hire a developer and is easy to use, Wix is an excellent solution.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you are able to customize and build your own website. Its easy to make it the way you want it based off what they already have selected. It also good that so many people review it that if you need help you can always google it. I do like the fact that they send updates or let you know if anything on your account has been changed so that you are aware of anything you didnt change.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very difficult to change templates once you have already decided on one that works. I would like to be able to make a template the way i want without having to jump through hoops to do so. Or if i decide through the middle of the month to change it then i would like to be able to dot hat also, instead of having to keep the same template the whole time. That way i can have a variety. I like to change anything that i use often so i want to be able to do that with my template. If i want to change according to the seams, sports teams or pretty much go with the flow of current events i would like to be able to do that to stay current.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to promote by small business by advertising, having pictures, and small testimonies all on one sight.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface that is more visual than code based. Useful if you are not a programmer.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the code gets messy using the visual editor rather than editing the code itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Had a need for a simple site that's easily updated by any level web user. Wix is good for that.
Wix-a-holic
What do you like best about the product?
I love how simple Wix is, but it looks so very professional every time I make even the plainest of websites. It is so easy to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
The "app" functions are not as easy to use as I would like. I wish they integrated seamlessly like some other platforms do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a cheap, easy to edit, user friendly website has never been easier. Sometimes it becomes so tedious and time consuming to have to log in & find the edits when using another platform, but Wix is so easy & functional.

Very easy to set up and they have some great templates that are super stylish. Really easy to build initially and add on to after.
What do you dislike about the product?
For my use as a realtor, there is no way to have a home search option from our local MLS. Other than that no big complaints.
