Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to manage and there are a lot of great templates to manage
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the website goes slow and takes a while to load at first. I have a great computer and great internet so this shouldn’t be happening. I also wish they had a better APP in the Apple market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting google analytics to the website is very helpful. I like how much is focused on SEO
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It does run kind of slow, no matter what browser you are using.

I like the ability to add multiple features and build a site.

I am not a fan of paying extra for features that I can easily control with other analytics tools.

I am not a web dev, so having WIX is important for me to create sites to test for my dev team.

Easy, Free Website Builder
What do you like best about the product?
I like the customized features for website creation. The fonts are amazing, and I enjoy the thoughtfulness and level of detail that went into the overall design of the webpages. I am not skilled in this area, and this site makes me feel more confident.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to adjust the uploaded features in site. It would be amazing if there was a link to Lightroom or something similar. I would like a feature to adjust the contrast/tones overall as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am starting my own photography business, and I thought I would have to pay significant dollars to achieve a business website. Wix allows me to be more personally involved in my website and offers really beautiful features that will make my site stand out from the crowd.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend exploring the layouts and to try uploading photos/images into various layouts. It's easy to add text, to customize color and add symbols. I like trying different layouts with each page too. If you're a photographer check out the portfolio layouts. They are fantastic!

I wish for the ability to connect MySQL databases to Wix.

I create websites that are simultaneously used for students, prospective student and patrons.

If you're waiting to get in on the website game, this is the time and the app. Wix is powerful and easy to use.
Great for Beginners & Hobby Sites - Not For Anything Commercial
What do you like best about the product?
Simple UI featuring drag and drop elements and template options for basic web design. Reasonably good conversion style to the templates as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Next to no plugins for things like eCommerce and very little choice with widgets ie calculators - basic contact forms are available though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a basic digital front for a small business or social org. that is low cost and quick and easy to build and set live.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try Squarespace as well as it offers a little more, and if you're feeling up to the challenge then Wordpress is the logical next step.

What do you like best about the product?
Wix offers fantastic ready to use templates that match perfectly with any kind of business, all of them looks amusingly professional, you can include photos, video and social media integration like Facebook, Twitter, etc, which is a must to get connected with customers. I would like to mention the perfect experience with Mac photo library, it is very smooth and comfortable you can pick your favorite pics from your Mac library with no hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to find something you really dislike from Wix, but If I have to mention something, I'll probably like to discuss the plans they offer. I think Wix offers a beautiful product but it is so expensive.
Furthermore, I hate the Wix adds, you have to pay at least $120/year to get rid of them, in addition to this, the bandwidth for basic plans is not enough.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I compared Wix with other website setup options like Godaddy and in my experience, Wix designs are more flexible than Godaddy ones. Wix helped me to save money because I didn't have to hire an expensive hourly/rate designer or someone to set up my website and, I would say it looks very professional (but requires time to get it). Also, I use my own logo and domain which is amazing!

You should compare your offer with Godaddy website builder plans and probably simplify your offer

I’ve tried it since they offer a free way to get a website. It was simple to use. And for free, it’s not a terrible option

The end product was exactly what you’d expect from a free account. Website seemed to not be as professional looking as I’d like

What do you dislike about the product?
I think that there are a few features that I believe could be implemented to speed up landing pages and a better customization of the blog/CMS
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The possibility to design, update, redesign and at will completely change my website at an incredible speed. This gives me the possibility to create live mockups and design elements with animations that would not be possible with other builders.

The truth is that there is no coding required, no need to learn software, and the learning curve to deliver and publish professional websites is inexistent! Simple and professional...and it works

When I first started using it, Java was still popular, but now with most browsers not supporting Java anymore, I had to re-design my website from scratch using the updated Wix platform.

I did not have any knowledge of coding or HTML and needed a professional looking website to display my portfolio. It was so easy to do with Wix. It eliminated time and saved me a tone of money on designs.
