What do you like best about the product?
Cequence Security has become a core part of our cybersecurity toolkit. It keeps our APIs secure without adding extra work, and it just works seamlessly in the background. The platform adapts quickly to new threats, so we’re always confident that our applications are protected. It’s reliable, efficient, and lets us focus on other priorities knowing our security is covered. We’d recommend Cequence to anyone looking for dependable, straightforward API security.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes under heavy load the dashboard becomes unusable, but that's rare and seems to have been addressed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of effort expended to reliably analyze traffic coming from Apple Private Relay IP addresses.
If you need to identify or protect your APIs and traffic, Cequence is the best available.

They are totally committed to our success. They are on with us through ups and downs and always respond if we have an issue. They really want to help and are totally focused on this space.

We have had small issues around vulnerabilities in the product but they have always worked with us to get them cleared and to be honest, some of it falls to our cloud team's requirements.

They are helping us to identify APIs and then protecting them as well as our other traffic from BOT and other kinds of attacks.

What is most valuable?
It uses machine learning algorithms to detect attacks and manage API inventory. A unique feature is its ability to block rogue APIs without third-party integration directly. This capability supports both attack prevention and mitigation.
What needs improvement?
It is expensive.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Cequence Security as an implementor for seven months.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It is suitable for enterprise businesses only.

What other advice do I have?
Compliance with standards like those in Europe often requires ensuring that APIs adhere to OAuth and other security protocols. Many organizations need to verify that their APIs meet these compliance requirements. We can include information about where an API was first recorded and create a detailed chart. Some competitors already offer this feature.
It is simple to integrate.
Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.
Great API security tool to have on your side!
What do you like best about the product?
Cequence's ability to caputre API traffic and automatically detect and present that data for inventorying and analyzing is awesome! Cequence allows for a wide variety of custimization for things like Risk Categories, Sensitive Data, Data Extractions, Rule Writing & Policy, etc. For any issues, Cequence support has a quick and knowledgable response. The tool, though robust, is fairly straight forward allowing quick adoption.
What do you dislike about the product?
Anything disliked is continually discussed and fixed in later versions. The Cequence support team does a great job of answering any issues and making adjustments to fit a specific envionrment. Their continued dedication is a major contributor to the success of this API security tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cequence CQAI helps catch business logic abuse that otherwise may go unseen. Cequence's ability to inventory live traffic, easily generate API definition files, and test APIs make this tool exceptionally useful for application owners.
Best tool for Security Folks
What do you like best about the product?
As an organization we were able to identify and stop attacks and all thanks to it's ML Model. Really love to support team that are very quick with resolution of any of our queries. Ease of use is really outstanding too.

Nothing bad about this product. Everything is good with this tool.

The Dashboard needs to be drilled down like if we click on OWASP top 10 all the events related should be opened.
